A rather ambitious project to discover and classify all the micro-organisms that inhabit the human body. 200 subjects, all American, seems a little limited as far as samples go but I guess you have to start somewhere. I am sure that at some point these microbes will be recognized as being connected to various human conditions.

Thanks for sharing this. If the sample is statistically good, 200 samples are enough too! Dr D has written an article (or a blog) on this.

Lola, You are out there!  ;D Great find..

So important for Lyme sufferers also.    Lyme affected people have seen all sort of stuff after they treated for micro-organisms and parasites.  One is reporting 4 inch tapeworms just as a beginning, other things as green or yellow clumps of stuff and all kinds of black stuff ongoing for many month.

This connection to obesity would be so welcome by those who suffer.
