I bought a new cookbook yesterday, "Grill This Not That". Of course it is not written strictly with BTD in mind but it has several good recipes that meet with some types. It also talks about how to reduce the carcinogenic effects of grilling.

Here is a sample sauce that intrigued me.

Peruvian Green Sauce

1 cup cilantro
juice of 2 limes
1/4 cup mayonaise(olive oil mayo can be made and used)
1/4 cup greek yogurt
1 jalapeno pepper, stem removed
2 cloves garlic chopped

Mixed in a food processor till smooth. Makes a cup and a half. Good with crudite or grilled poultry of the type appropriat for your type. If you have nonBTD compliant guests , it makes a good sandwich spread or good drizzled over tomatos.

There are several other recipes for sauces, spice blends and rubs, marinades ect. The book is on sal on amazon.com for $12.95 right now.

I'll try a few things and give a report, the "Morrocan Spice Turkey Legs" sounds very good.

Thanks for the heads-up, just bought a copy for my Kindle. Especially looking forward to trying some of the interesting looking marinades.

A favorite go-to book that I keep in my 'grilling' library is "How to Grill" by Steven Raichlen (of Primal Grill). The book's from 2001, before Primal Grill was in production, but it's still a great resource.

Well I'm a Big Green Egg lump charcoal purist but I hope you enjoy it. Just remember to check the recipes against your avoids.

Buddy of mine has a Big Green Egg grill. I really like it and have been thinking about getting one, especially since the BBQ grill I built 15 years ago out of a 55-gallon honey drum is on its last legs. Actually, the leg welds are all still intact but the barrel and the grate are FUBAR because I loaned it out for a couple of years while I was overseas. This nub left it outside uncovered and would obviously leave the lid open because there was no rust inside the barrel, or on the grate, before I loaned it to him. Of course, I don't know how he hasn't managed to burn down his house yet. He's an honest to goodness charlie foxtrot waiting to happen, and that's on a good day. Now he thinks he wants to have a massive fire pit installed in his backyard. I'm just glad there's a fire station not more than half a mile from his house. (:

That Peruvian Green Sauce recipe you posted earlier looked really good, but yoghurt is a definite avoid for me. I saw some other marinades in the book I liked, though.
