YES!  I do think there were other aids besides diet, but without the diet, I don't think I would ever have had the strength to do the cleaning and healing required to be able to rid the candida.

Like I said in another post, read THE YEAST CONNECTION HANDBOOK by William G. Crook, M.D.

There are a few others, too, and those old books are still up-to-date IMO. They can easily be used with the D'Adamo diets.

The diet does help a lot.  Years ago I also used a homeopathic supplement called Aqua Flora.  You might also consider getting SWAMI to find out if coconut oil would work for you- it's supposed to be good for candida.

It is a pity that everyone can't use coconut oil. It is one of the very, very few things that isn't on my diet that I wish I could have! It is not even a black dot! But it does wonders for a lot of people who can have it. So use it with abandon you people who can, and make my day (according to your limits, of course!) (smile)

I am dealing with Candida at the moment...Candelim is helping a lot, plus the GenoType diet with multiple sclerosis.  I'm a B+ blood type and had had NO IDEA that I should have eliminated chicken and tomatoes, and gluten, all these years.  I got the basic pack for B types and was so very surprised to see that one of them contained nolybdenum, which I had been taking to help with the die-off...I am SO much better, thought I was just going to die soon, as I had been extremely healthy all my life.  It was a great shock but I will be keeping up the diet and crossing my fingers, and saying lots of prayers too.  Best of luck to you!

Welcome Anna, and keep up the effort.  So many of us lived a lifetime of eating all the wrong foods and are now reaping the results of it.  Thank goodness for Dr. D'Adamo!!  I've been following his programs for about 14 years and can say that he knows what he is doing.
