BTD Forums  /  The GenoType Diet  /  Book vs. Website recipes?
Posted by: 18902 (Guest), Friday, May 18, 2012, 2:03am
Hello. So, It's my first time on the website as I am mostly a book user. My question is "Can anyone answer, why the recipes list foods for certain types that are on the toxic list?" Also, same question about "black dot" item?

I thought I was on the right track with my changes, now looking at these recipes I'm completely confused.

Thanks.

The recipes on: http://www.genotypediet.com/GTD_recipes.shtml

are recipes from Waterfront Media. Waterfront Media ran a subscription website for GenoType diet book that no longer exists.

Although Waterfront Media knows how to run Websites and collect fees they do not know much about diet.  They made a few mistakes in the recipes, but the recipe collection is not in a form that we can easily edit.

Toxins are mistakes.  Go by the list in the book. If you find toxins in recipes you should either substitute other ingredients or not make the recipe.

You should not eat black dots during the flush out period. Some people choose to eat black dots after that time others choose to continue to avoid these foods. Most recipes with black dots are flagged with special icons so you can choose whether or not to make them. Some black dots like  toxins were missed, but we do not have an easy to fix errors in the GenoType recipe collection.

I enjoy the variety and apply what works....leave out what doesn t, or substitute with a beneficial

for tips on substitutes, post away and ask, there are loads of great chefs among us ;D
