Hi,

I'm new to the blood type diet/lifestyle and was wondering what supplements do you find benefit you the most as blood type o? I would like to try most of the supplements listed by Dr D'Adamo but don't want to spend hundreds of pounds every month buying the suggested supplement packs. I have had positive results from taking L-Tyrosine and Rhodiola Rose giving me a slight boost in mood and energy. I was wandering if any one with blood type could share the supplements that they find most beneficial i would be greatfull.

Thanks,

Wade.

Welcome Wade :)
The first one I got was Deflect, and it's the one I take most consistently.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply,

What benefits have you seen from taking the deflect product?

Some deflect info: http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=BT004O

Another consideration would be: http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=BT003O

Rhodiola is wonderful. I also use tyrosine.

What you use should depend on what you are trying to accomplish. Think about what you need to target, then choose supplements as desired to support that.

I am lookin to increase my energy levels and mild deppression so any supplements that help with that would be best. Have you tried Deflect or the probiotic? As i'd like to hear some first hand reviews on whether these products worked for different individuals.

Also i think my problem might be with my adrenal function as i have alot of symptoms ascosciated with hypothyroidism, but have had my thyroid evels checked and they have been in the ok limits. I plan to see an endocrinologist sometime soon.

There could be any number of reasons for your energy/mood.

If you are not already, try getting the appropriate exercise and a little time in the sun every day.

Can anyone who's tried Deflect give me there thoughts on if it worked for them, what sort of changes they felt after taking it that sort of thing. I know i should probably just try it myself and see how it goes, but I've got a drawer at home with supplements that unused supplements that haven't done anything for me, and don't want to add another to the pile.

Thanks.

'Polyflora O' because it's a blood type friendly probiotic/prebiotic. Just as foods can complement or conflict with your blood type, so can probiotic organisms. I think this product has definite value in supporting a healthy digestive system. If you know your GenoType, as well, each type has a probiotic formula, e.g., Hunter Catalyst, that is formulated to correspond optimally.

Hi Conor,

Thanks for the reply,

Have you tried the probiotic? What sort of results did you get? Also how much does it cost for the complete blood type analysis?

secretor status

genotype
some only need to read the book and use the advanced calculator in the back of the book to find out their genotype......start there.....

then you can decide if you wish to tweak it up a notch by ordering a swami
