BTD Forums / The GenoType Diet / Someone explain "Swiss Army Knife Explorer"?
Posted by: Seraffa, Wednesday, May 9, 2012, 2:08am
There never was a detailed explanation for it in the Kindle GTD.
I'm guessing it's half explorer plus an even mix of tidbits of other types?? ??)
Enter Edward Scissorhands! :D

Can you reference it so we can read and attempt to help with an explanation?

was it referring to the fact that an Explorer can be of any blood type?

I've never heard of that term.

I think it means that they have a little of everything and not as specialized as other genotypes.

In Geno strength-testing my score was highest in Hunter, Nomad and Explorer. In that order. But Warrior, which was 'way down the list, held sway above all of them in other ways.

Seraffa, I searched high and low and could not find it in any of the Explorer references, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be tucked in somewhere else.

I remember reading it in the GTD book. The swiss army knife of sorts, or something like that.
I can ID with all of the genotypes more or less in certain aspects. But the explorer genotype is me with the foods listed and the way they work, which is the way of no way!

As you can see, the Explorers GenoType is really the catchall group, the Swiss Army knife of the GenoTypes: they are the only GenoType that includes members of all four blood groups.

Type A's cannot be Hunters, Gatherers, or Nomads. You only strength test the Genotypes mentioned in one of the three sets of tables. A's can be Teachers, Explorers, or Warriors.

I know, Paul, I know. I was simply relating how the strength-testing added up! :) After all, there is no question that I am a conglomeration of more than an Explorer. The strength testing only confirmed that to me! And my diet has the final say which is also confirming.......

Yes - what book was that from? I had only read Kindle version GTD; half a phrase said "except for the Swiss Army Knife Explorer." (this was not your book.)
