Hello!  As of last Tuesday, I am officially a size 10 petite short (can I get a Gatherer high five?!).  I've gone from a 22/24 pant size at my heaviest to a 10.  THANK YOU, DR. D AND THE GENOTYPE DIET!

One more pound and the dang BMI calculator will finally have to cry UNCLE and realize that my weight is within the NORMAL range!  Wu HUUUUU!

(I still have a bunch of PMs I haven't read--no computer access.  I typed this on my cell!  I will read and respond to PMs when I get a chance. xxooo)

Thanks, D.L. and ABjoe!  And YEAH, even with all the stress in my life at work, etc., NOTHING can take away from how AWESOME this is!!!  Like you said, being here instead of there:  wow.  The journey of a thousand miles...

I could NEVER have done it without you lot, btw.      :K)

:D u all r the best!  I've been trying to find time to post this since it happened last Tuesday. There are no other peeps I wanted to share it with like I wanted to share it with my BTD/GTD peeps, except for my mom.   But with so much various and sundry rhymes-with-pit hitting the fan at work, and no net access anymore, it was a BAD TIMING ALERT.  Then again, there's never a bad time to discover you're a size ten.

Off to kill a mosquito now--it's him (or her) or me.

Way to go girl! I must tell my friend who is a B - Gatherer. This will encourage her. She started GTD in February and lost 3 lbs. that month.  ;D

Congratulations, I'm so pleased for you(dance)

I haven't been on here in ages, but I used to belong to the old forum and T's board...I think I had a different name then......(acorn or something) I didn't post a lot but I read and read and tried to learn.
I used to love your long posts, and reading about all your adventures, and you being so honest about your success and your battles with the dreaded AVOIDS and falling off the wagon. :-/

I've just started a new health kick (did get the GTD book but could never work out which type I was...warrior I think) so I 'm trying BTD again and paying attention to glycaemic index (duh...beans and lentils...not rocket science is it for an A, really? :B)

So after browsing for a while on here (but not reading a "size 10" thread, as it doesn't apply to me (whistle)) I realised there weren't many posts from you, so I did a search and found you :D

Wow no wonder you haven't had time to post much what with being expected to work in your workplace (what is it with bosses? ::)) and then doing all these compliant meals and all that walking etc....

Wow wow wow fantastic news(dance)(dance)(dance)

My guess is that she's clarifying that "petite" means "short." If there is such a thing as "petite short" please let me know where to find it. My 4'10" 16yo finds most "petite" clothes too long for her!
