Yeah, you will.

Just get some type O foods. I wouldn't bother with nightshade or peppers yet. Try things like...

Millet
Lamb
Kale
Swiss Chard
Onion
Garlic
Compliant Fish
Turkey
Sweet potato
Blackstrap Molasses (great in hot water, with a bit of carob powder)
Ghee
Pecans
Artichoke
Ginger

All of those cross reference between the GenoTypes pretty well.

what kind of info do you need changing?

the time locked ones are mostly those which do not change, no matter what

the rest you can run as often as you like

You ran a SWAMI without knowing your blood type? That's a pretty major piece of info- I would have waited to fill out the SWAMI at all if my blood type had been in doubt.

Oh, well, we can only move forward, not backwards. I'd suggest going shopping from the BTD foods list for this week. If it turns out you bought a lot of a food that SWAMI says you should minimze; don't worry about it. Just eat what you've bought and refine your food purchases better when you next go shopping.

You need to eat adequate amounts of animal protien (probably 2-3 servings a day, a serving being about the size of your palm) and lots and lots and lots of veggies. The specific veggies reccomended may vary a lot depending on genotype, but IMO it's more important to eat enough veggies than it is to worry about specific varieties. Stay away from corn, potatoes, and cucumbers (and anything else no good for O's on BTD) but don't worry about the veggies that are OK for one genotype but not another.  Just make sure you eat plenty of veggies, especially greens.

Do you want to tell us about why your blood type was wrong previously?

I was kind of scratching my head about this too, but I didn't want to be the first to be like, WAH??

Because my story isn't that much different.  I ate the A diet for almost a year because my Mom THOUGHT I was an A.  And then I decided to get the blood typing kit.  I had quite the shock that day I looked at the results.   ;D

JJR, has your correct typing made much difference to your health?

Well it was similar to JJR's reason. I took the eldoncard test and couldn't read it well. It looked like an A+. My dad is A+ and my personality is similar to his, I'm pretty skinny and thought I was sinewy, and I get a lot of mucus built up in the morning especially if I have wheat or dairy. I get a little over enthusiastic over things that pique my interest, and I like to experiment, so I went ahead and got Swami. I did think it would be for more than one person and that I could change anything anytime I needed to so I didn't realize it would lock. Anyway, I got it changed today and it looks like I'm a hunter :)

Rachel D - I can see how you would think that. I always thought I was A+. Don't know why. I was really surprised to find out I am A-. Have thought about ordering another eldon card and running the test again to be sure, but the first one was so distinct and I followed the directions exactly that it would probably be a waste of time (and blood hehe). I wish they would just put it on a person's birth certificate.

Yes the negative on mine surprised me as well. I was sure I would be positive since the eldoncard agglutinated. But something must have gone wrong, I'm sure the doctor is more accurate.

Jenny, I was eating chicken like it was going out of style.  And I remember having a very bloated feeling.  When I would bend over my lower part of my upper body would definitely crowd the upper and my Chiro was doing that hiatal hernia push down method every time I saw him.  Which was actually frequently at that point.  I was really going through a rough time.  So when I found out, I cut out chicken and I lost 5 lbs in 3 days, my stomach went flat and I didn't have the bloated feeling any more.  The weight loss wasn't really something I wanted, because I was already losing too much weight at the time, but that stupid bloated feeling went away and I could bend over without it feeling like everything was crowded.  So, it was a good thing.  Now mind you, I was eating a lot of BAD chicken also.  I wasn't quite to the point of eating only or mostly pasture raised or organic.  So...  I'm sure that was part of it too.

That was like 4 years ago though.  I've since followed the AB diet, the AB fatigue protocol, the Teacher diet in the book (that's what my measurements made me out as) and then mostly a Nomad on SWAMI.  Although I did shorter stints as teacher and explorer as it was changing.  It's been Nomad for a long while and I think the addition of red meats more frequently in my diet has helped my immune system.  I avoided red meats for a long time, and I think at the time it wasn't a horribly bad thing as my digestion wasn't working very well.  But now it seems to have gotten better PRAISE THE LORD.  And I'm eating more red meats according to my swami.  I've always liked any kind of meat and I think it's a better fit than avoiding it.  Some are saying my portions on my swami are as much as some O's get and more.  I get red meats 5x a week 5-7 ounces, poultry 4x 5-7 ounces, and fish 6x 5-7 ounces.

That was another thing too, I used to be so skimp on my portions at one sitting, I was starving myself.  Now I'm just eating to get better and not look at food as the enemy.  Which I had done because I got so sensitive.  But that's because of the lymes disease.  So, long answer to a short question, but that's my story.

Rachel, welcome to the Hunter campfire! You definitely sounded like a Hunter to me based on what you'd said above. So glad you now know!

JJR - what an amazing journey and testimonial, I didn't realise!

Well, there are a lot more gory details, but Rachel might benefit from the cliff's notes possibly.

Either way, I know that following these diets has helped my recovery. Or I should say helped in general.  I'm not recovered.  I don't know if I ever will.  But some days are better than others praise the LORD, and I'm definitely better than I was 4-5 years ago when it all came crashing down.  There is hope.  Sometimes it's just to learn to not place so much emphasis on my own strength and submit to the trial and journey.  And other days it's to enjoy some renewed energy and blessings surrounding me.  Or both.  Hehehhehe  Anyways.....
