MIfHI training occurs at various conferences, in online forums, and by reading various publications. Some years the conference may address heavy metal toxicity other years the conference addresses other health issues. There is not a prescribed curriculum for MIfHI that says that before being certified you must complete two 3 credit courses on heavy metal toxicity.

Thank you. Did you get some training on heavy metal toxicity during your time? If so, could you give me some tips/steer me to some good books I could read? If not, do you still have some tips?

Because there are a number of issues involved in treating heavy metal toxicity most practitioners are going to be reluctant to make recommendations without seeing the patient and lab data.
