I have always tested everything I do against what I know from experience.  I have time to devote to my on research, and I have the ability to compare since my body responds to changes near instantly.  

I am on BTD all progressions of types for 16 years, I was doing low carbs for 15 years before then and had lost (and gained) 30 solid pounds.  I was ill before I started this weight problem way of life and struggled mighty against all foods and their temptations.  I had stopped losing weight no matter my wishing to do right.  My mind and body just refused to work in tandem.

Then I started HCG drops (not making a recommendation) and lost 20 pounds in near as many days.  ON HCG drops one is not hungry, so it allowed me to not eat as much.  This diet has specific hard and fast rules, and they work where nothing else worked.  The HCG is program that is intended for 21 - 45 days or a short period of time with stopping 2 month in between the next round.  

I did exceptionally well the first month and was ecstatic that for once in my life I did not have to THINK about food.  My mind was at ease and this hunger elephant could leave the room. Life is great.  I could breath better because one promise the HCG drops make is that one would lose old stored fat, in my case around the middle!  I lost the fat from the top down, from under the heart to my waist and then to lower on my hips.   I could breath much better, my pulse rate went from 90 to 50-60 and my cholesterol numbers dropped fully 1/3 of the high they where on.  I can move my joints better and I can bend over much better. My shoulders feel stronger and more balanced as they don't have to carry the extra weight as if I was pregnant (for the last 30 years.)

Finally the foods I was eating where BTD O compliant, as the diet prescribes meat vegetables and 2 fruit and 2 Melba toast.  I had little need for the Melba so I mostly did not eat it.  I would eat it when I also ate tomatoes or apples as they would not sit well in my stomach - the Melba seemed to give balance to it.  As O I am not supposed to eat tomatoes nor apples nor Melba toast.  I was able to eat meat and vegetables.  and I ate many zucchinis, green leafy salad, and broccoli.  I was fine with that, and was allowing me to eat some of the apples and was ready to suffer the consequences.  I was doing fine enough but eventually I got constipated.    

Then finally I went on the drops a second time wanting to drop the last 20 pounds..  I went by the book I ate exactly what was on the list and I ate non compliant apples or oranges.  I did it with great results of no hunger for many days.. I will continue until Thanks giving .. but this time I had a hard time dropping any additional weight past the 20 I had lost before and gained 2 -3 pounds in between.  I could not drop any weight.. I was stuck My scale did not budge, and again constipating.  I KNEW THAT my body eventually would have to do something as I was eating less then 500 calories a day, eventually no matter what it would have to co-operate..

NOT:  !!! NOT ! my body held on to EVERY calorie I ate and every inch of my girth no matter the restrictions and complaints to the HCG guidelines.. I could not loosen up any measure.. I was stuck for near 4 weeks........

THEN I finally said, well if the weight will NOT come off I might as well EAT COMPLIANT and I bought a pineapple.   I ate from it while I cut it up and I snacked on it all day, I ate it the next day and loved it as it is actually quite low in carbs compared to apples. --- I felt that I knew my body would react to compliance ! There was no doubt about that!!!!!! so I had nothing to lose- if I was going to be staying my current weight I was still going to be happy- the drops do that for me- and I knew I would again be BTD compliant...! sooner rather then later.

LOW and behold, the next day I dropped 2 pounds, a miracle in itself.. and then I went to the bathroom to have the first good bowel movement in EONS.. It felt good to know that in less the 40 hours my body had responded to the compliant food intake, and in particular to the ample amount of pineapple, and allowed my chemical reactions to boost my weight loss.

COMPLIANCY is king.. I have proven that over and over and over again.. even apples -  mainstay fruit for the uninitiated are damaging - HOW wonderful for the KNOWLEDGE BTD affords me!  The teaching, and the testing done on BTD GENO and SWAMI foods is just INCREDIBLE: it's so good, on target, and for real!!!

Now I am 18 days from thanksgiving and if I calculate it right I will drop the next 10 pounds by then and eat hardy that day with a correction day of steak the following day.. I will achieve my HEALTH and bathroom visit improvements and I will look and be HAPPY.  I will  continue the HCG drops until the day before thanksgiving but be fruit will again be BTD compliant -the meat and veggies never was on issue.

So:HIGH HOE to COMPLIANT super/diamond and Beneficials and all that compliancy offers!!! I eat few neutrals and no grains and no dairy, nothing white.

I share this in many posts, but here I had to share all the pitfalls and the triumphs, the successes, the learning and the praises for what my body tells me!  I am so grateful that my body is so responsive and shows me every day what it is capable of.  Hip-hip-hurray for BTD foods.. I love my O foods!  and now that I am looking good I love me showing off my body  what more can a person ask for?  BTD foods rock! ;D
