Has anyone heard of Digestacure?  The website makes it look like a cure for diverticulitus.  What do you think?

I am having a hard time figuring out what is actually is in it :

Quoted Text
Ingredients:  is a potent and effective proprietary proportion of stabilized natural plant healing molecules, phytonutrients and antioxidants: Stabilized long chain polymannan and polysaccharide molecules over 68% (from one million to over 9 million *Daltons in length), stabilized mannose molecules, stabilized glucomannans, stabilized glucopolymannans, stabilized medium and short chain polysaccharides, stabilized mucopolysaccharides, stabilized glycoproteins, stabilized glycolipids, natural beta sitosterol, natural plant minerals, natural plant enzymes, natural plant amino acids, and other isolated aloe plant healing components.

If its mostly mannose, I can get that cheaper elsewhere.

If it is a bunch of fancy names for components of aloe, I am not supposed to be eating it anyway.

These descriptions of compounds are just too vague, they need to be more specific before I can have opinion.

I was thinking similarly.  I am taking enough supplements that I am torn between adding deflect or intrinsia for this issue.  If you had to choose, which one would that be?  I have always been well, rarely sick until age 55 or so, so for that reason always believed I was a secretor.  Is that not a safe assumption?  On a budget, so hesitate sending for it.....the test, that is.

Spend the money on the test.. take fewer supplements.. follow only one supplement suggestion at a time as seen in the list of protocols.   If you can not afford it now then just eat as if you where anon secr and see how it affects you.. there is usually only one or two items that you are not supposed to eat..

I find that some thing make a big difference in my passing foods through, and they are avoids.. looking at the list ought to give you clues again and again..   Did you take the 'which diet test?  When I changed around I was always learning something about the new items added or subtracted.. look at the food list again and compare what you already know,, I trust the protocols as being our best bet.

There should be no reason to take more then one group only..  and to many sups at once is counter productive.  Talking to the sales staff is not a good guide, they have always one more of this or that to sell, some of which actually interferes with one another..

My problem is I'm not sure which supplement helped the most because i do take a few.

anyway, intrinsa seemed to help but so did harmonia deluxe,

for my own information i have finished a bottle of intrinsa and am now just taking harmonia deluxe to see if it was that and the additional fruit/ juice that helped also.

basically making it easier to go to the toilet is the first objective which i have achieved, then to fix the problem is next

after i run out of harmonia deluxe, which will be soon, i will decide what to do next. but i have gastro D to use up also. and i have a bottle of sciensa too,

Anyway I'm off for a rare Beef salad lol

This is about the route I've taken.  However I had also gotten the ARA6 in one of the health packs.
To get things moving in a healthy way. (not to fast) that is what I'd take, and stay compliant with your food choices. Plenty of water. Fix the gut. ( WOW!  :o sorry Lola that's usually your line  ;D)

sorry i have used ara too it's great.

I know know that if i get constipated i can solve that problem, which is good.

they next issue id to fix the problem,

i had a little blow out of sweets and my intestine is throbbing again, so that a no no for a while.

although it could be everything just working is way through the problem lol. one door closes as another one shuts in your face lol

I have a feeling that intrinsa helped me not to crave sugar - just an observation, since stopping it i have been like a wildebeest for sweets. i thought for a moment i had been infiltrated by Goldie ;)

has anyone else had a major case of food poisoning or salmonella prior to having a swollen lower left abdomen?

Thank you all, I will look at the beneficials and avoids again, and the nonnie avoids.. I used to take the ara6, kind of forgot about that one.  I have been taking a probiotic a couple of times a day and staying away from avoids, drinking water, and having glutamine and fish oil at bedtime.  Some mornings, I still wake up with a crampy side.  For several days last week I had greek yogurt with activia for breakfast or lunch.  And felt better, but seeing it is not to be eaten so often, I stopped it five days ago.  Got some again today, and am going to see how that works.  I have not eaten anything sweet, and am trying for lots of veggies with my meat.  I do appreciate all the comments!

How I do love Deflect and ARA!

wow, had no idea about activia.  I bought it again yesterday and poured a half bottle on a half cup of greek yoghurt.  I had no belly aching this morning, and no 'sickness'.  Guess I will wait to see about the bloating.  I do think I will order the ARA.   Thanks

Trish, not taking the secretor test is making a gamble.  The secretor status determines what food you should take and it is almost as important as your ABO blood type.  You do not have to take any supplement, but eating is not optional.  For this reason taking the secretor test will make sure that your eating choices are not misguided - causing the need for later detoxing.

You spend much more on food that on any supplements.  Think of the secretor test as food-choice insurance.  The test is better than any other kind of insurance; you pay once and use it to benefit the rest of your life.

Ok, I hear you all.  Hopefully soon, meanwhile I will eat like a nonnie....jave to check the avoid list....with the probiotics and yogurt and enzymes and no nuts and seeds I am feeling so good.  Meat and veggies, prunes. Am up to playing tennis again.
