BTD Forums  /  Nonnie Clubhouse  /  Best way to treat Candida

I'm dealing with major Candida and need to treat it.  Today, I ordered Threelac to address the issue.  I'm continuing to research other ways of treating my digestive issues and came across this information:
Bromelain/papain supplements are good in general, whether you suffer from candida or not because they help to break down hard to digest proteins (like red-meat!)
Is this true?
   ??) ::)

I am sorry to hear about your candida issue. As a B nomad, I was able to do a super strong candida cleanse with coconut oil.

I would suggest that you follow Dr. D.'s bacteria/yeast protocol while cutting out carbs and sugars which feed candida. You can follow the candida diet while eating your GTD/BTD foods.

My candida cleanse was brutal and the only thing that sustained me was GTD diamonds.

Good luck and good health!

Dr. D has made it so easy for us... this supplement is targeted for O---- nonnies just like you.

All the one size fits all advice won't help you. O nonnies  have the most candida-- women in particular.

Stinging nettle is one of the strongest things you can take for candida. Here is Dr. D's quote--- ( notice how he does not say "might" he says it does.)

Quoted Text
Candida control: Nettle root contains a lectin, which agglutinates the human yeast pathogen Candida albicans.

Just follow Dr. D'S protocols.. he knows what O nonnies need.

As Andrea know, i over supplement when i have problems, lol

but i use intrinsa first thing in the morning and an hour before my dinner in the evening.

I also use genoma eq in the morning at noon and in the evening.

I also use gemoma security in between and sciensa.

all washed down with polyflora, polyvite and phytocal.

I also don't eat any carbs while doing this. no grain.

i have a smoothie once a day with ara and harmonica deluxe.

who needs food lol

anyway i rate the intrinsa highly for Candida.

essential oils.. or so called rizoles made by Dr. Martina Klein can do the trick; if not orthomolecular stuffs like caprylic acid etc can help... btw..there are some fine health protocols as well ;) :D....
cut down nearly all carbs...candida is justamente living on those sugars.... :P
btw... higher amount of olive leaf for an O...= justamente nothing but beautiful... can even be enough instead of using too much of supps.... :D

I'm not an O or a nonnie, but do have excess candida issues at the moment. Do you have knowledge that this Genoma EQ product will work for me as well? I'm currently taking 700 mg of caprylic acid on an empty stomach (before bed), which is part of the anti-fungal protocol for A's.

Be sure to get the root, not the leaves.

According to Dr. D, nettle leaves are good for other things, but don't contain UDA.

Stinging nettle agglutinates candida.. in everyone--

But  I do think that everyone should do the three bottles of gastro D along with deflect, intrinsia, live cell... then see how they feel.

Getting rid of the bad bacteria is key particularly for A's.

Based on my candida cleanse experience, it is super important to stick to the BTD and adjust the foods so that one limits his/her sugar/carb intake.

Since the nomad diet calls for protein, I often subbed protein for starchy veggies while doing the cleanse. The nutrients from the protein actually helped my body heal faster.

Good luck and good health!

For the past two days I have been taken 2 packets of Threelac per day and been noticing  a headache, congestion, and bloody mucus. :(
I got to feel better by tomorrow since I have to drive 3 hours and then catch a plane.
Would appreciate your feedback.  Thank you!  :)
Here are the ingredients:
Refined dry yeast powder, canola oil, 30ppm, casein ( milk product ) Do you think it's the dairy that's causing the headache, nasal congestion, etc. ? ??)
