I cooked on the stove tapioca and then mashed a (very sweet brand of) banana in it until it was blended nicely.  It came out tasty enough for me.  After a few bites, I did try it also with adding vanilla and that was also okay.  I then added cinnamon, and that too was nice.  But it still seems like something could be added to it to make it even better.  But I couldn't think what.  Any suggestions?

ghee, nuts.....depends what texture you wish to achieve.....dried fruit maybe?

I think cardamom would be good in that; it's very good with banana...or cocoa (but I wouldn't want both the cocoa and cinnamon)

I could give ghee a try.  Nuts we're not ready for yet.  Cardamom, I've never used, so that'll be interesting.  I'll see if they have that spice here.  Thanks for the ideas!

Oh, and cocoa!  Of course!  Chocolate tapioca pudding. Mmmmmmm!

Have you salted it? Even sweets need a tiny bit of salt to bring out the flavor. :)

You can also try adding some dry fruits to it like a topping to add flavor.

Do you add chocolate at the end?  Is it just an addition, not chaning the recipe?  I bought a small bag of t. starch (Club House brand) and just followed the recipe the first 2 times.  I was wanting to try chocolate this time.

Cardamom is so good. I will try this one too. I didn't even think of tapioca pudding.
