hello all. need help with sinus congestion and fluid in the ears, and dizziness. im on a sinus spray that has xylitol, goldenseal, sea salt, and colloidal silver. i been on it for 8 days and it helped alot, its finally breaking up the mucous and im sneezing. i had this problem for 3 months now and if this spray dosnt work 100% dont know where to turn next. i also netti pot but it makes my ears worse with the fluid, when i blow my nose after using netti, they pop and make all kinds of noises. im also on nac. i tried braggs apple cider vinegar(not for A's), but no help. alot of people swear by cayenne tea but A's cant have that either, and there is sooooo much good things that cayenne does for the body. any help is appreciated. thanks.

Collinsonia will help, as well as following your diet.

Is it a continual sinus problem related to food sensitivities?

Hi, quercetin with bromelain is good for sinus infection prevention. I took it, then I ran out, then I got a sinus infection and I had to go on an Rx and I bought more and started taking it again.. so far so good, no problems. I also use Ocean saline spray to rinse out the pollen, and I'll take Sudafed red to drain it out. The one you have to give your license to buy. One can also use mau huang tea but I need convenience.

The breath easy pack looks really good...

I think what might appear to initially be a sinus infection quickly turns to a perpetual fungal issue.
Especially if you've been treated with antibiotics.  I live on quercetin and bromelain.  But I had to
really work hard on my gut to rid myself of yeast overgrowth.  I think it becomes systemic.  This
is the first time in 10 months that I feel my sinus issues are going away.  And all I'm really working
on is my gut!

Welcome ctconservative!

I am an A secretor like you! I also have suffered with extreme sinus issues for about 5 years now. Chloe is correct......heal the gut first. I know from experience. ;)
Almost 2 years ago I did a 3 month test to filter out my food allergies. This lead to discovering what irritated my sinuses....mainly wheat gluten, yeast and cow dairy. I had sinus surgery in 2008. My polyps and nasal swelling were back with a vengeance in a year. I then followed my Teacher diet and eventually got a swami. My nasal conditions were so severe that I could only tell a small improvement ...but the rest of my health is perfect!!! :D
Two weeks ago I had endoscopic sinus surgery with sinuplasty. The new ENT had never seen so many nasal/sinus polyps! He knows I follow the ER4YT way of eating and agrees about eliminating the foods that cause my mucous as "allergies add to the cause of nasal polyps". We also know my environment hurts my condition (wind, dust, mold spores, pollen) so we will tackle the food/environment allergies together. (Remember A's have extra mucous... :P)
The point is that I would be/feel really horrible without my bloodtype plan. Even with not being able to breathe out of my nose or smell and taste this past year, my "gut" was still healthy. Due to ER4YT I look younger than my almost 60 years, have energy, do not take any meds, have fantastic blood pressure and low cholesterol, and have no aches or pains to complain about! ;)
Please find a good ENT sinus specialist for yourself who understands ER4YT.

I can testify that the breathe easy pack that Dr. D'Adamo has created works.
This spring I finally gave it a try and it has worked great.  No more constant congestion and runny nose.
It has not been perfect, but this is the first time in decades that I can breathe through both sides of my nose almost all of the time.  I've also cut down on Kleenex use which is offsetting the cost of the supplements.

cajun...I have the same food issues as you...gluten, casein, cow's milk dairy.  I'm so glad you're feeling better after your surgery. :) I wanted to ask you this....As a Teacher, we get a lot of dairy products. Are you eating any cheeses now?
