BTD Forums  /  Testimonials  /  Thyroid values normal yet again!
Posted by: yaeli, Tuesday, July 19, 2011, 11:48pm
This is by no mean trivial!!! When I started BTD in Feb 2006 I had been suffering from hypothyroidism for say 15 years, and within less than 2 years on BTD, one day my thyroid tests values became normal, which was the biggest surprise and unheard of. What could my GP say, having tried for long years to put me on thyroxin, unsuccessfully? He just clammed up. Now after the ordeals I underwent in the past 3 years (incl. CRT and 2 huge gut operations), apparently/evidently many of my systmes were shaken and thrown out of balance, and my TSH value soared accordingly. To my great surprise, and much more important to my great happiness, my bloodwork of 2 weeks ago showed free T4 and TSH values which are completely normal. Now this is for the second time round! Today I've visited my oncologist, a very sweet and scholarly lady, and she was sure this was due to medications. I assured her that it was all and only BTD/GTD doing, and that there's no need to believe it - just to watch the results and realize, like I'd found it hard to believe the first time round, when I had put the results on my desk and peeped inside from time to time, to make sure I had been seeing right.

Oh yes, do that first. Mine was taken out so I have no choice but be on the stupid pills, but if I had, I would do without and be on this diet.

Got yesterday evening my bloodwork results.

Free T4 and TSH are within normal range  :D  8.72 PMOL/L and 2.94 MIU/L respectively.

Thank God and thanks Dr. D. (pray) (clap) (dance) It is only thanks to BTD/GTD/SWAMI (all three) that my thyroid is being cured. I will repeat this to my GP. I don't mind if he dismisses me by shrugging his shoulders or ignoring. I do understand him, this is too amazing for any conventional physician to accept, this was not a part of his education  >:(  :P but I keep walking my own road.

Again, I repeat to myself: Heal your gut - heal your thyroid.

I am regularly on Polyflora and on Deflect O, Live Cell, Histona Ulterior, and more.

My CPK came high in September, 211 U/L.  I followed Dr. D's advice to eat less carbs and more proteins, and now it is within normal range: 159 U/L. Almost at the highest limit, but considered normal again. Thank you Dr. D!!!

Oh wow!

I've been on Thyroxine for probably 10 years now too...

It'd be nice to come off it!

But anyway: congratulations! You've only got yourself to thank as you have been compliant this whole time!

Yaeli, just so you know, I sent your awesome testimonial to a very good friend of ours who has been going through a terrible time with bladder cancer - surgeries, etc. and starting a full blast chemo round in a little over a week. Their recent thyroid test was disheartening even though they had never had any sort of problems before. I feel sure it was caused by this bladder ordeal they are going through. Anyway, they were very glad to hear your wonderful news. They have attempted to stay on the Geno diet for some time before this bladder problem came up, but they travel a lot, and it was not easy. Some months ago, they bought SWAMI and are under the care of a doctor who thinks very highly of Dr. D. and is very knowledgeable in his own right, in addition to an array of "ordinary" doctors. Of course, we are hoping for the very best. And thank you so much for a very uplifting post! (smile)

Thanks for telling me. As you have mentioned this, I'd like to repeat the obvious. Chemo is a severe poisoning of all systems, and he/she must also get a massive specifically targeted support for a long time in order to keep the body fortified and to enable it to get well. They already have Dr. D's protocols.

Amazone I. taught me about Orthomolecular Medicine cancer therapy & chemo support protocols, and I found an internal medicine doctor in Israel who is also a herbalist and homeopath and specializes in this field. He has been taking care of me for 5.5 years. The intervals between my treatments are now growing, and next time I'll visit him after 3 months.

Other remedies I take are medicinal mushrooms and Salvestrols.

All the best and gook luck to your friend!  :)

Thanks, Yaeli, for your good wishes and information. Our friend had a stage ten bladder tumor removed, more surgery after treatment, and it had come back. As soon as he was diagnosed he has been on a major organic diet and supplement regimen that makes him feel wonderful. Except for occasional anxiety, of course.  His "real doctor" (to us!) has brought six patients like him through this with the same treatment along with chemo, and they are all doing well. Of course, our friend has a horror of chemotherapy, but he has only known of people who went through it without the diet/supplement regimen. Of course, I had rather he was seeing Dr. D., but that is simply too far away for him.

These are really foods, no doctor needed, still they are guardian angels! Friends indeed. Strong friends :) 8) :K)

as said, google please about prof.dr. Dan Burke in the internet;here you're going to receive full informations about Salvestroles, indeed this is not only a supplement but muchmore ;) ;D... but coz of the newest implemented laws we're only allowed to come along by descriptions like supplements contain... :-/ but studies prove that this product is a true  working phytotherapeutig help and it does what chemo only predicts... ;) :D(dance)(ok)without any side effects....!!!!!!!!!!! :o ;D :D

Btw- I'd go also for the healing musrooms, normal powder are ok as an adaptogenics, but true stuff- only when symptoms show their needs!!!
