The iPhone App (v1.3.1) has discrepancies from both the website and the LR4YT book.  Any insight into why and/or which is more accurate?

compare to typebase always......it has the same values, and is only for secretors

My understanding is slightly different than Lola's. Therefore, it is probably wrong.

I had heard that iPhone App contains more recent values than typebase, and includes a few new foods as well as some minor updates to food values in typebase.

I am too poor to afford an iPhone so I have not been able to verify this.

I think that the iPhone App data is from 2010. I do not know when the typebase data is from.

I have the iPhone app.  If you have a specific food of concern, I can check it out.

There are discrepancies, it is not a debate.  I am curious:
1. If they are being logged anywhere.
2. Why they are not being fixed (both a website and iPhone app are very easy to update)
3. Which source is the foremost authority.

Examples of discrepancies for type A Non-Secretor are: Lamb, cayenne pepper, and sunflower seeds.

typebase will always be the place to check

i have the iphone app. And you can select secretor or non secretor. I have not compared it food for food to the type base. But I love the app. The foods do change though when you switch over to non secretor.

Quoted from 14178
Examples of discrepancies for type A Non-Secretor are: Lamb, cayenne pepper, and sunflower seeds.

Current rating for Lamb for A Nonsecretors is neutral (typebase is correct)
Current rating for Sunflower seeds for A Nonsecretors is avoid (typebase is correct)
Current rating for Peppers, Chili, Jalapeno is avoid (Current Cayanne rating not available to me). I would presume typebase is correct since it is correct for the other two.

Remington,

I see that Lamb is listed as an avoid for Type A non-secretor in the iPhone app.  The error was not noted previously.

I do not see sunflower seed listed for Type A non-secretor in the iPhone app.  Sunflower oil is listed as a neutral both in the online database and in the iPhone app.

Cayenne is listed as an avoid in the iPhone app and the online database.

Which lists are more accurate, the ones found in the Dr. Peter D'Adamo's --- book or the app?
A: The iPhone food lists match the lists posted in http://www.dadamo.com
which are the most updated lists and take precedence over any printed material.
Once on this site, go to Online Support and scroll down to "TypeBase Food Values."

Does the BTD iPhone app address secrteor and non-secretor?
A: Yes

Questions about the BTD iPhone app?
A: Please email appsupport@dadamo.com

Have an itouch.. wanted to buy the eat right for your blood type app.
I bought an itunes €15 card hoping to use this to buy app.
However it kept showing my credit card details.
Don't want to use credit card after friends was hacked on net, thus reason for buying itunes card.
Never bought an app before so would appreciate help to buy as am technically challenged.
