Ok .. we are united here.. as we might be Gatherers.. prone to soem ofthe same issues..

I ate almond nuts last night and got indigestion, I should not have, I was told they could be on issue for acid reflux, I ate to many..

This is me.....I really have a hard time resisting because I have always loved nuts & when I gave up peanuts, cashews & pistachios. I was stoked I could eat almonds & mac nuts. They replaced my long lost loves cashews & pistachios. :'(

And a person could have short legs, but an even shorter torso, and be a Hunter. It's the proportions that matter for genotype, not just leg length. Also, not all Gatherers have trouble with nuts, nor do I have trouble with indigestion.

The only time i get indigestion is when I eat avoids. I'm currently feeling gassy and bloated, but I ate avoids today: cucumbers, G-d only knows what was in the salad dressings and the sauce on the BBQ chicken, but at least I avoided dairy, wheat and corn (at least obvious corn, there are the above-mentioned sauces) and I don't have a stuffy head or all-over body aches (the headache is coming back though) so, all in all, not too bad considering that I have almost no control over my own food right now. Yesterday I ate some milk chocolate and had the worst sinus headache last night and today.

Short(er) legs is positive for Gatherer and Explorer and negtive for Hunter.

Try jaw angle for Type O's: wide for Gatherer narrow for Explorer and Hunter.

Most hunters I know do not have longer legs than torso. They are not typically short, but not often longer than the torso. I think it use to be more common.

Lower leg vs. upper leg I think is a better indicator of growth rate factors. The way we selectively choose mates probably works us away from very long legs, often. At least this day in age.

My fiance is a gatherer and her legs are pretty short, with the upper legs being a good bit longer than the lower leg.  I'm an A explorer, my uppper legs are longer than my lower legs.

I'm an A explorer, not a gatherer, but over the weekend i ate a bunch of things like chips, breads on hamburgers, and the like, as well as plentiful beer and wine, and i had indigestion.  I find cereal in the morning, even the "healthy" cereals give me a sour stomach.  My O gatherer fiance felt similar types of things last night as well after eating bad over the weekend.

My torso is slightly longer than my legs.  But I am not short at 5'7".  I do have to watch overeating nuts, though.  I get plenty of them as superfoods, but I tend to overeat them and then I can't digest them well.  It's better to have them with fruit or salad rather than on their own, in my experience.  I don't often get indigestion anymore (thank you Dr. D.!!  ♥), but last night I did after eating chocolate.  I think I need to curtail my p.m. chocolate for a while.  It's a neutral anyway.  :(

My torso is longer than my legs.  And my femur is longer than the lower part of my leg.

It is so hard to find a one piece swim suit that fits.

When I measured by the Genotype book, I was a Gather but after a few weeks I felt terrible with major indigestion and just overall not feeling like I was eating correctly.  My Swami says Hunter and I feel great!

I'm a Hunter.  My upper legs are longer than my lower legs, which is not characteristic of Hunters, but my legs are longer than my torso, which is characteristic.  Remember, it is a matter of percentages.  Not all Hunters or Gatherers have every trait of their genotype.  I have several Explorer tendancies, such as my fingerprints - I have a combination of Ulnar Loops, Whorls and one Radial Loop - and only three of my fingerprints match.  Most Hunters have at least four fingerprints that match.  Also, I have a rare blood antigen, which Dr. Nash thought would surely make me an Explorer.  My head is not wide like most Hunters and my jaw angle is more neutral than narrow or wide gonial angle.  I am still a 47% Hunter, which is considered a strong association.  I have a large, andric opening between my thighs, my ring fingers are longer than my index fingers, I am an O + non-secretor, I am a super taster, and I have incisor shoveling.

It is important to remember that it is a matter of percentages and one particular trait does not automatically make you a specific genotype.  It is a combination of traits.
