There is criticism of the graphics in the comments. What is your opinion of the accuracy of them?

Well, if they were going to be truly accurate, they'd be accurate and totally useless because of the huge range in scales between each of the entities depicted.

That makes sense. You have to simplify enough for clarity.
In grad school I was a research assistant for a cloud modeler. If we didn’t simplify, I’d still be crunching numbers on punch cards for that NCAR Cray Super computer that is now in the Smithsonian.
At work I have a huge poster on the wall of my office of the simplified FAA NAS systems. NAS = National air space. People read the word simplified and their jaw drops. I’d hate to see what the complicated diagram might look like.
