For some reason I thought that fenugreek was good for O nonnies so I bought some capsules.  Now I can't even find it listed anywhere.  Have I lost my mind?  What is it for?

If memory serves, it is listed in one of the protocols in the Cardiovascular Health Series book.

Oh, thank you!  So I did not buy the real herb, I bought a capsule.  Will that work?

I did look it up and I did not see it.  I found it on a list that it is beneficial for O nonnies, but some post earlier said it made the person have an odor.  I don't want that!!!

Everybody is different, just because somebody had an odor it doesn't mean you will or have it as strong.  Though i wouldn't mind smelling like maple!.  ;)

How interesting.  That must be why it's in a sausage spice mixture I just put together yesterday.  I thought it was a strange spice to include..... sure smell's nice.  Haven't used it yet but am lookiing forward to making turkey sausage with it.

Fenugreek is good to thin mucus secretions.  I like to drink Fenugreek seed tea when I have allergies or a cold.  It's like chicken soup and Guaifenesin.

And as Lola says, it's a part of curry.

I do that too Squarepeg!

You can also sprout the seeds and add them to salads  ;)
