Hi bel, I'm taking glutathione for mercury toxicity at the moment. It's meant to help me detoxify the gunk out my system

My understanding is that Glutathione can be difficult absorb as an internal supplement. There is a transdermal cream http://www.murrayavenuerx.com/pain1.html that is pretty good, one of my colleagues swears by it. I've only been using it for about 2 weeks , so it's a bit soon for a personal testimony. There is also a supplement called "Glutathione Recycler" from Apex Energetics that, well, does just that. I think the two make a good combo for increasing Glutathione.

Hi, Apparently the one my friend is introducing me to has Riboceine which helps your body to produce glutathione naturally and increase uptake frm the supplements as well. Its produced by MAX international. Does it mean that glutathione is really beneficial to one's body?

When i searched for glutathione on the BTD store, it comes out supplements for Teacher and Explorer, does it mean these genotypes need it more than the rest? :)

Explorer can often have variations called Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) in several of the genes that are involved in detoxification. These include the genes that code for a family of glutathione S-transferase enzymes, a family of enzymes responsible for the metabolism of a broad range of xenobiotics and carcinogens. These include: the glutathione transferase polymorphisms (GSTM-1, GSTT-1, GSTP-1).

Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) is an enzyme found on red blood cells that is critical to maintaining proper levels of the anti-oxidant glutathione in its bioactive 'reduced' form. Reduced glutathione acts as a scavenger for dangerous oxidative metabolites in the cell.

keep searching the monogramms :)
