Hi, I'm new to this board. I've been on the blood type for 4 yrs now and has changed my life for all good. I'm type A and 41 yr old female. I've been racing my bicycle competitive for 2 yrs. I'm currently training between 12-18 hrs a week on my indoor trainer and burned about 1500- 2000 calories during some workouts. I train 5 days a week. Some of my training is weight lifting too.  Since I started training the type A diet has given me some challenges on what types of food can I eat that will really fuel my body for my workouts?   I'm looking for recommendations on foods/meals to eat that will really help me for these types of workouts I do?   Any thoughts or articles or info on this topic or links that might be helpful?

Think about getting a SWAMI pro . It can be tweaked for athletes not sure if you can do this on the express version.
Taking things a bit further with your individuality because of the intense exercise regimen would be a good thing.

Check out holy basil for clearing cortisol. Dr. D talks about this in the BTD Encyclopedia.

I would look into yes perhaps SwamiX or Pro just because if you are really into bicycling like that it would be of no surprise if you were an "Explorer" genotype. In which case you might not believe the benefits of some dietary changes. If not then...

I would be more than happy to try and dispense a fair amount of advise but without knowing your GenoType it is a little difficult.
