The Journal Club and Literature Review Board has been made accessible to people who have not signed on.

I only caught this fact as I was signing on to the board today.

Bravo!  Brilliant!  Wonderful!  (clap)(clap)(clap)

Most of the board are open to the various search engines (google, yahoo, etc).

Non members can view those boards without being registered.

I meant that the new board was ~ not ~ so protected.

Since this is a place that will contain literature than confirms and corroberates Dr. D' Adamo's work, making it accessible to all is a good move.  People do not have to sign on to see some evidence that gives the lie to the "there is no science" crowd.  The comments will be about the literature and how it is seen from the view of individualized medicine, not about Dr. D' Adamo's products and terminology from the "inside" experiential perspective.

I had assumed that the Journal/Lit board was going to be private and would not be seen until user identity was established.

it is protected since they do not have a chance to participate unless they register.

Not hidden from view then.  :)

It does make sense to demand accountability and stop spamming, but I like the fact that it can be seen!

Which board could you not access without logging in?  Many of the boards are read only for people who are not logged in.
