BTD Forums  /  Live Right 4 Your Type  /  What blood types are in your household?
Poll Data Not Available with Printable Version

My other thread got me thinking: I know as much about feeding Bs as I do about feeding Os, since I'm the sole shopper/cooker for my B son. I'm certainly as "qualified" to help out a newbie B as I am to help out a newbie O. So I decided we need another thread to ask about, not just the blood types of the people posting here, but the blood types of the people we prepare food for.

For the purpose of this poll, "household" includes anybody you're shopping or cooking for on a fairly regular basis.

I'm the only one in my home, but two of three of my children have been tested, and are A+, as is one grandchild, for sure.  So, I am trying to help them, learn the right foods for them, through conversations. (I voted 0, only) as it stated in household.

My DH is an A, but he is a secretor. By the BTD our diets are so different and even more so as an Explorer and Warrior. The rest of my immediate family are O's except for my dad, he is an A.

O- with A+ husband.  No children.  Also suspect that I'm an Explorer and he is a Warrior, but I don't fully trust my calculations yet.

A+ with O+ son and O+ fiancé - neither of whom are following BTD (but I try to encourage them to eat more of the beneficial foods that they already like and inform them of avoids whilst letting them make their own choices).

Two O gatherers, life is easy :)

I'm an A, as are both my sisters and my mom. My dad is an O. So far only me and my youngest sister are on BTD though so we pretty much are working with two As until the others start coming around. At least my dad is a serious carnivore, so I know he's in the semi-right place for his type...it's a start...

I'm an A+ and my 4 month old son is O+. I am renting from my parents as a single mother. My mother is an AB+ and my two younger brother are both AB+ and so is my older sister. My younger sister is AB-. My step dad is B-.

So being an A an O and being surrounded by AB's who are supposed to be rare... well it makes me feel like the rare one! lol

I'm a B secretor and my husband is an A secretor.  When he eats chicken, I eat lamb.  We both eat turkey, salmon and swordfish.

I'm an O+, my other half is an AB- and my son I think might be an A- like his father, but he won't let me test him lol.

How old is your son?

He can either be an A or a B, and those two diets vary quite drastically. All you can do right now is take care of yourself and pray that one day he wants to follow your example.

I've just finally typed my husband with some old tests i had (wasn't sure they'd work but retested myself and that came out right) so I'm a B+ and looks like he's an AB+  - luckily we've got Turkey for dinner tomorrow  ;D

My wife and daughter do not follow BTD.  We're probably all explorers, and my daughter is vegan.

3 O's (husband, 2 daughters), 2 B's (twin sons) and I"m the only A. We have to individualize many meals. Even my B sons are different secretors and genotypes, just to complicate matters even more.

I'm O and husband B, not sure about rest of immediate family i.e. parents and siblings, but I think most of my family are probably O's too.

AB =  INTJ  Warrior
                                         = Constant amusement on good days, constant friction on bad. Never a dull moment.
O =  ESFP  Gatherer

I´m O pos

Husband is A neg

My natural eldest daughter is 0 Pos like me, probably Gatherer/ Explorer

My natural son is also O Pos , likely Hunter

My natural youngest daughter won´t let me test, but I suspect O..and likely Hunter

As for 2 step-daughters...they might be A like their dad I suspect! Tho´I could be wrong of course...

I couldn't vote this one accurately. My father probably was an O and is deceased; I live with my mother and we are 2 A's.

Lisette, there is a chance your daughters might be O as your recessives might be O. But I am guessing at least one is an A!

One housemate is an O, the other is AB- and I suspect both are nonnies. Neither of them eat on the diet, I'm the only BTDer.

Me plus DH who is an O Hunter (except he's not very compliant between meals) - so at mealtimes he gets to eat like a Gatherer!!! ;) :P :D

I'm A+ my wife is an O+ we could not have children, we both had health issues as children she was a preamie and I have problems with heavy metal toxicity that manifested in my teens. My mom is A- and my dad was an AB. My 2 siblings are both A+ but my sister has an O son who's dad is also blood type A so both parents carry an recessive O allele. I am the lucky one to carry the nonnie gene among my siblings. Well back to eating healthy to heal my leaky gut, again.

I'm an O- spawned from an O+ mom and a A- dad.  I live with my husband, an O+.  I'm quite gung-ho about the diet.  He still eats bread and cookies sometimes, but he loves that I'm eating meat again after being a vegan since before we met.  No children, but the dog really likes our beef stew. :)

I commented earlier but I've noticed that several are elaborating more, so I will too.

Both my parents were O - .  So am I.  My hubby is O +.  Our daughter and son are O -.  My daughter is married to an A+.  The oldest grandson is A+, grand-daughter is A-, and youngest grandson is A+.

I'm pretty sure my older brother was an O and I'm assuming my younger brother is too.  My hubby knows very little about his family, so no idea what they were/are.

If both of your parents were Os, then all your full biological siblings have to be Os as well. If either of your brothers are half-brothers or adopted, that wouldn't hold true.
