A neighbor of mine is the mother of a deeply handicapped son 30 years old  and on PEG nutrition as he developed serious difficulties to send down the esofagus, gulp his food. He was always worsening in distonies, walking and  coordination movements ability and she found the culprit. The products for nutrition have sugar (HFCS)  I fear caseine and lactoalbumine (may be gluten) and minerals and vitamines , but for a group A to have this concoction of bad nutrition and avoids is really nasty IMHO.
She understood it when the second time on a juice and water fast she sees her son far better concentrated and in control, so she is considering my idea to prepare a liquid A nutrition for him with soy protein and fresh organic eggs as protein, fruit juice (grapefruit and pineapple) carrot, beet juice and a bit of beneficial oils. What an evidence of Dr D. ideas and of how much industrial pharma food  dangerous for all us !  Suggestion for best liquiid nutrition welcome!

Juicers are good for fresh fruits or vegetables...

Blenders are great for pureeing cooked veggies or soups so they can be mouthed and swallowed or drunk.

I would also include a multivitamin and probiotics in his "formula." Can the NAP capsules be opened up and mixed into his formula once a day?

Is he drinking this concoction or does he have a feeding tube? You don't need to worry about the mixture tasting good if it's going in a feeding tube. Also, does he need a fiber-free formula or does he need fiber in his diet? Pureed whole foods are the best way to get fiber, rather than juices plus a fiber supplement. However, if he can't digest fiber then you'd need to use juices.

She is a smart woman and a dedicated mother, and has realized by herself what I had suggested two years ago; how can be a good complete nutrition for long term just a pharmaceutical food replacement ? I learnt here and the hard way in my life to question medical choices for better options ! LOL
he need just juices and totally liquid food to pass his PEG device.
