I've noticed this week with a new eating routine, in the morning, I sweat more from my head and some mornings I have slight sweat spot on my shirt above where my liver is.My diet timing, quantity and content has been improving, especially in the last few weeks.   And I do know it's summer and 102 here, but this is beyond regular summer sweating :-)  I'm hoping the sweating is my body siezing the chance to detox a little.  Here's my routine in the morning when the sweating happens more.

In particular, in the mornings, I'm preparing for the day by starting with some spring water when I first wake up, then I make a light smoothie of water, ice, a few chunks of fresh ginger, a few raspberries, a little fresh squeezed lemon, Type O protein powder and a tablespoon of NAP Larch-A.  I also take the NAP Type O supplements plus NAP Fucos.  I keep fresh ginger juice on hand at all times by juicing a few large ginger roots every few days with a little water in a Blendtec blender then straining out just the juice.  I make Type O tea along with green tea, Hibiscus and white teas into a large 32 oz cup and drink it on the way to work.  Finally I quick pressure cook Collard greens so they are tender, but are bright green still then I pour the pressure cooker's remaining water (still almost boiling) into the Blendtec blender, add the Collards, add a three macadamia nuts, a few sprinkles of Mozerella cheese and tell the blender to make soup.  Once the soup is done, I add chunks of turkey and pour most of it in a container for work and this is my main meal at lunch and day end.  I keep the excess and drink a small cup of it in the breakfast time before I leave for work.

Two other things.  I neglected to say I put a quarter cup of fresh ginger juice in my large morning hot tea. Also I weigh 278 and am 5'9" tall so I am obese.  I am not currently exercising though I plan to resume daily swimming and daily training later this week. And I'm an Explorer Genotype though I don't have the caffiene sensitivity so I may not be a slow acetylator.

Any thoughts about the food choices, supplements, addition of a lot more fresh ginger and what might be causing the additional sweating?

I would do some body brushing, gentle stimulation of the lymph system and organs.

body brushing activates the lymph, helps you detox effectively.....

have you ever done the liver cleanse in the explorer section of the book?
steam baths help as well, or sauna

I did the liver cleanse which was on the earlier board which involved grapefruit juice, epsom salt solution and olive oil.  I don't think the board promotes that now, but it was mildly effective.  Would have been more if I'd done it several time every month or so, but I only did it the one time.

Also which is more effective, steam or sauna?  I have both at my health club.  I've always chosen sauna because it makes sense that dry heat would help you sweat out toxins.  What does the wet heat of the steam room do positively?

Tom, you are consuming a large amount of ginger, which is certainly a healthy food.  But the quantity may be stimulating the extra perspiration somehow.  

How about some red meat in your diet and some variety of vegetables?

I find steam hydrating, while sauna, a bit dehydrating.....
sauna heats up strongest once you wet the hot stones!!! wow!

I don't know which one is better for detoxing, but from a skin care point of view, the steam is much better for your skin.

Both should make you sweat and I would think steam would make you sweat faster.  The sauna is a dry heat and I think you would dehydrate faster.

I do eat grass-fed beef 4-5 times a week.  I also eat Kale, Asparagus, Green Beans, Celery, Spinach, Romane Lettuce, Peppers of various kinds, sometimes Jerusalem Artichoke
