BTD Forums / Testimonials / One Month into SWAMI GTD
Posted by: joyfulheart, Saturday, May 1, 2010, 12:48pm
I started with BTD 2 months ago and am about 1 month into my SWAMI's GTD.
The pores on my face are smaller and cleaner than ever.
I have lost a few pounds without any exercise (I need to get back on the bike!)
But the most amazing and dramatic thing for me has been the absence of cravings. Even when I am hungry and non-compliant foods are wafting right in front of me, I have no desire for them. In spite of coming from an Italian family and having to say no to tomatoes and wheat, I am enjoying my new food choices (spelt, buckwheat, brown rice, pestos, egg and ghee sauces for pasta) and don't feel deprived one bit. I was known for having a sweet tooth - must have that bit of sugar after every meal. Runs in the family. Well, I'm free of that now too!
I'm feeling so good I forgot to pour myself a cup of coffee this morning! I was contented enough with my eggs.
I have also happily ventured into making my own wheat-free foods and dairy-free milks and really enjoy it. I am truly eating to live instead of living to eat.
I do believe this Dr. D is onto something... Many thanks! ;D
