Does anyone know if S and s are abbreviations for Secretor and non-secretor?

Please see following quote from a family member of mine:
Don't know about the secretor status - they didn't test us for that. N. is big S, I'm little s, in terms of the mns blood antigen system. The problem was the big S versus little s - which is called anti-s, just like the rhesus factor incompatibility, called anti-d, where you can be big D or little d.

The actual problem was a birthing incompatability between a mother and child recently born.
