I happen to have Coconut meat and Coconut Milk as toxins. Just wondering if natural coconut juice would be OK to drink? Would it also be a toxin?  There is so much publicity on just how good it is supposed to be for you.

Unlisted foods are considered neutrals.

I looked at coconut water (the water inside the nut) sometime last year and from my view at that time it looked to be 'safe'. I don't know how it would rate in the GTD.

Great question Jumari...I keep looking at coconut water in the health food store and
wondering if I could drink it too.  I also have coconut milk and coconut meat as toxins..but coconut oil is a diamond.

I've given up my Thai curries with coconut milk and eating raw coconut meat, two things I love. Like you say Lloyd if its not listed it must be a neutral.

I've been wondering about this one, too. I use coconut water/juice going into and coming off 14-day cleanses and fasts,  and as an O nonny nonny I can say that it has never felt like I was doing myself harm. We must, of course, defer to the good doctor on this one.

For the record - coconut water (also called coconut juice) is the natural liquid found inside a coconut when you crack that puppy open. Coconut "milk" is actually the product made by boiling/processing regular water and shredded coconut flesh.

Coconut meat, oil and milk are all avoids for me.  I do love a coconut water and rum with a tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk and a sprinkle of nutmeg.  mmmm good
Probably not so good, though.

I was just looking at the links Chloe posted. Makes coconut water / juice sound like the nectar of the gods hey. Is it safe to assume that if it isn't listed in Swami, it is a neutral for me?

I have given it the same rating as coconut meat.......to each their own interpretation.

Coconut milk is commonly coconut meat and water.

Coconut water (from inside the nut) is something else...
