I have not come across that one in Australia either. Probably some very specialist shops/health shops.

Cristina, I promise I'm not following you around but maybe we should consider importing some of the stuff that is hard to find in these parts. Like that Artichoke pasta and maybe that China Pop cola, Amaranth, etc. Oh and Buffalo milk thats a tough one. Any other stuff you find hard to find?
Some of the fish on the list don't exist or have different names too which makes things hard.

Sorry Aussies have taken over the thread so far.
A common fish here is hoki, not listed on BTD / GTD. I saw on here a list of mercury content and it was with Hake like:
Hake / Hoki. So I assume it's like Hake?
Buffalo Milk - there's some info on that at
http://www.bluecow.com.au/default.aspx?MenuID=16We should start a thread about rare foods to find in Australia.

Careful with the Hake and the Hoki, you mind end up doing the Hoki Poki... ;D

Will start another thread didn't mean to hijack this one, sorry medavida. Did you try searching the internet for 100% artichoke flour pasta and see if you can order some that way? At least it will be lightweight, low postage.

Thanks everyone, Yes I have search the internet, but I was a bit suspiciouse that the ones I looked up contained wheat. As some of you have warned. I guess it will just have to be added to the list of foods that I need to learn how to make my self :P
I don't mind if you hijack the thread, at least someone will get the information they need 8) ;D
