Does a regular bowel movement (same time daily, with a firmish consistency), indicate an healthy gut? ??) :-/

Count yourself lucky! ;D
I suppose it all has to do with what goes in your mouth. I just wanted someone to confirm, or to tell me what else to look for.
Thanks

No odor.
Stinky poop that you need spray for is bad. :B :B
It should slide right out. :B :B

Since we are on the subject. Should it float or sink? I can't remember which is healthy.

Hi geminisue,
I have had issues in this department for some time and was informed by a TCM (traditional chinese medicine) practitioner that stools that do not sink are a sign of malabsorption :-/
On another thread someone mentioned that if initially floats then sinks it is OK :D

Funny I thought the opposite was true! The idea is that if your #2 floats, you aren't producing enough bile to break down the fat (which floats). Maybe we're wrong

I also heard that floaters can be common for people with celiac disease who often don't digest fats properly (when they are eating a diet with gluten). But before that, I had heard they are good!
