BTD Forums  /  SWAMI Xpress  /  How much does SWAMI-Pro cost?
Posted by: Gale D., Tuesday, August 25, 2009, 4:31am
I had a meeting with my partner, and we discussed our plans to introduce the Genotype Diet into his medical practice.

We need to know how much SWAMI-Pro costs for use in a physician's office.

I need to know what the fee is for signing up to take the Test at a Conference, whether there is a cost to attend the Conference, and whether there are any other costs associated with IFHI certification.

thanks!

contact NAP, they ll explain to you about the use and regulations behind swami pro and the biochemical knowledge the practitioner needs to have as well as a master of IFHI certification, to be able to make good use of all its components, as well as costs involved.

registration and certification fees for the next mini conference next april in TN are not yet on line.....

It sounds like it might actually be better to have clients purchase SWAMI-personal once measurements are taken in-office!

The professional version is not the same as the on-line version. Not to say that the on-line one is not great. Just that the practitioner has control over things that the on line version does not.

The pro-version can also be changed as a clients health improves. One can constantly edit it, as needed.

Are you considering getting certified by Dr. D?  This would be an exceptionally beneficial thing for the practice you are involved with.  :-)

Yes, I want to get certified!  My partner does not. He's does not "do computers" (for a good reason).

I may be remembering this wrong, but I think in my conversation by phone with NAP, the rep said one was not required to be certified in order to run SWAMI-Pro.

Is swami soft ware for individual a cd,dvd, or floppy disc, or either?

SWAMI-Pro costs:

10 Use license: $399.95 (works out to $39.95 per use, to be used anytime)

30 Use:  $899.95 (works out to $29.95 per use, used anytime)

Unlimited Use:  $1, 199.00 (to be used only within 30 days)

Certified Physicians can run SWAMI. A lay-person working with SWAMI in the physician's office is not required to be certified.

In May 2010 - a mini-certification will be run at the Conference in Tennessee. Attend the lectures at the conference, take the test away, and turn it in within a week.

The very helpful lady on the phone said she's never heard of someone failing. The test is open-book, and a Study Guide is sent to you as soon as you sign up.

Basically, do the work, make the effort, and you will get certified.

Both SWAMI Xpress and SWAMI GenoType (what people are calling Pro here) are run online. No software is installed on the user's machine, you simply visit a Web site to access the software. You have to have an account with a username and password to access the software.

Most individuals will use the SWAMI Xpress edition which requires no certification or special training (other than you need to be able to make some measurements).

right, cause they believe it is the physician manipulating swami pro......if you are not versed in nutritional biochemistry to some degree, it would be like trying to liftoff a jet without knowing how to fly.....
swami express has everything already tweaked for you as if Dr D were at the steering wheel, or you on automatic pilot! ;)

so can swami express.....excluding the locked fields, like bone length measurements and BT and things not likely to change whether sick or healthy!

That is not what the NAP representative said. She said "a layperson is not required to be certified to run SWAMI-pro with a physician partner".

What I mean is:

I assume that since a layperson can become a certified fellow and run SWAMI-Pro correctly, an M.D. degree is not required in order to work with the software.

Yes this is true. Do they have the geno swami out yet for the professionals? Or is that due to be released in mid September?

I am a master and do not consider myself capable of running a pro....

I don't consider myself capable of running SWAMI-Pro either... but I will never say can't. I am famous for not giving up when I want to learn a difficult and complex thing.
