BTD Forums  /  SWAMI Xpress  /  blueberries vs blueberry juice

I was under the impression that the whole fruit of any kind is better for you (more fiber etc) than juices. However, in my SWAMI blueberry juice is a diamond and blueberries are neutral. Can anyone explain that to me? If I swirled the berries around in a blender to liquefy them, would that turn them into a diamond superfood?
I think I am missing a subtlety of the science involved :-/

The juice is more concentrated, in nutrients. My GH ( Genoharmonic) food list has blackberry juice in every one.

Dr D. ;)

Quoted Text
Many fruit juices are higher in specific nutrients (flavones, lignans, etc) than the whole fruit.

Thanks as always Andrea! I just couldnt find the right reference. And my GH has both blueberries and blueberry juice listed to complement my moose meat  :P
So mashing them up at this point is pointless, if the point was to make juice  :-/
