Here is the description that Dr. D gives here on the website.

Wondering how you explain the SWAMI to the "others"? :)

I have said, "My diet program is individualized by my personal genitics."

Close enough to start from. If they are interested, I go from there and carefully observe for subtle signs (like eyes glazing over). Otherwise just keep adding more info as they ask Q's. If they don't ask, not much point in telling.

Just wondering how you explain SWAMI in your day to day life.
I believe we are Dr. D's translators.

Thanks, the words individual are good, genetics is good.

My thought is to keep it as simple as possible. If they ask for details, bring them in as they can be absorbed. Remember how long it took you to learn all this! There is no need to use 75 cent words unless the person you are talking to needs them.

Listen to some of Dr. D's radio interviews. That is about as complex as I would get.

This is more of professional practice question. I already have their attention, so now how do I dumb it down. I know each situation will be different but some key words to have or even a written thing to read  to them might help.

I think I need another one of Eric's movies :)

Keywords would also include epigenetics, xenobiotics, growth factors, thrifty genes, gene methylation. Probably more.

Go through your IfHI stuff and pick out the key points you want to discuss.  ;D

You will need a computer with an Internet Connection and a Web browser.

A high speed connection will work better, but is not absolutely necessary.

The software was tested with Firefox, but it works with most browsers.
