What is the significance of the A1, A2, A1B, A2B? Any articles on the site or past posts?

Yes, there are many.

To find them for yourself, become familiar with the search features for the forum and for the site. The Help tab above may offer assitance there or it may be sometime we need to update.

Others will also come along and help with links and useful information, and perhaps help with the search feature.

Here are results from a quick site search for A2:

Also, there is a primer that has basic info and the Knowledge Base has plenty too. Links will show up, I'm guessing....  ;)

ancestors of the A2 people who predominately inhabit the Laplands of Scandanavia most likely subsisted on an Arctic diet that consisted of reindeer/caribou, lamb, goats, and oily fish. These are the protein foods that the A2 inhabitants were accustomed to eating much like the early O's were accustomed to a H/G diet. The A2's just happen to have fewer A antigens than A1 people. They also have fewer A antigens than type B's have B antigens, but this does not necessarily mean that an A2 requires more protein than a type B.

A2's apparently could do with more meat, basically, and fewer refined grains.  The fish and poultry that the basic secretor A diet allows are good sources but de-emphasized on the classic A diet--you would want to eat more of them and some allowable red meats occasionally, if you are indeed an A2.

Hi Tomatilla :) It's nice to meet another AB non-secretor. I'm almost finished reading LRFYT. Please let me know if there are any other things you've discovered as a AB non-secretor.  I want to learn as much as possible!  Thank you.  Can't wait to do a serotyping panel.
