Has anyone here heard of anyone's hearing getting better on the diet? I have an A friend who has to read lips her hearing is so bad. She is mildly interested in the diet but i'd like to encourage her more by telling her that her hearing would get better instead of saying it "might' get better.  Would i be a dreamer if i told her that?

tinnitus has increased for me on the genotype diet - I shall reconsider certain nomad foods/amounts etc but it's definitely worse.

I am a musician. Eating wrong food can interfere with my hearing in many ways.
My ability to hear low and high frequency decreases, the same goes for depth and details in the music.
Yes, I think there`s a link between diet and hearing!

(dizzy)(dizzy) I thought it's all about those little cristals in your
little earhairs...how it comes to guess inflammation??)
Nearby Ebmatingen is a group which works with a sort of a little tube into the ear....will have an eye on this and let you know the link....

ditto again.

I think of it as having a "meadow" in my head, especially when it bothers me a little bit (like during meditation). I visualize a warm, sunny, grassy hillside with grasshoppers and other critters chirping  their unique tunes. The visual picture makes it not so irritating. And during pollen season it is the worst, which relates to the increase in inflammation as a possible cause.

Nomad culprit foods?... I think the cheeses are what does it for me.

{{btw...  :K)'s to you, eh}}

I have congenital hearing loss.  Dr. D once posted a study from which I copied one line:

A study published in Acta Otolaryngol found a correlation between ABO group and noise induced hearing loss; with a significantly higher number of workers tested being blood group O.

I find that caffeine in coffee (avoid), black tea (avoid) and cola drinks (avoid) greatly increase ear noise.  Ironically, the caffeine in green tea does not.
