Well I might do a DNA test just because the DNA test will reveal a lot of other interesting things regarding to health as well and other exciting stuff about ancestery/heritage for instance. I will probably do a saliva test also and if I do both I suppose I will no longer doubt my secretor status. :)
I saw from another reply I had from Vicky (about a question I had about if there was any statistics about how many Le(a-b-) blood tested people who was saliva tested as non-secretors) that most Le(a-b-) was non-secretors. I wondered because of what I have read that one can be both secretor or non-secretor if being Le(a-b-) blood tested.
Even if You've adviced me to follow non-secretor diet, I wan't to know my secretor status for sure for other reasons. One thing is that if one is a non-secretor (saliva tested or DNA-tested) one have immunity to the most common strings of noroviruses.
I haven't had the strenght yet to start and I am still trying to figure out what genotype I might be. I think for myself that I would fit in to being an Explorer type but I am not sure.
I need to mentally get into this more cause it is hard to break habits right away. :B
