Does anyone know of anything to prevent scars? I have just had a rodent ulcer removed from the bridge of my nose and have had four stitches - I woke up the next morning with horrendous bruising and two black eyes also which is now slowly going - the stitches are due to be removed in three days and I am anxious to minimise the scar. All suggestions appreciated.

When my oldest son was 14 months old he burned himself pretty severely.  A massage therapist friend of mine came over and massaged his leg with some stuff called Scargo.  It worked beautifully!  She highly recommended it for anything that would leave a scar.  Make sure to take the time to really massage it in.
I found a link where you can purchase it:

After it heals or almost heals, put vitamin E on it. That has worked for me with small injuries. A little goes a long way. After you smear some on, you may want to take the rest of the pill internally.
Best wishes,

There's also an oil called Deep 91, that you put on once the wound has completely closed.  I put it on an old old scar and it even helped it.

Thanks to all - it will probably be the vitamin E Mrs T cos the other two are only sold in the States and I live in England - our country is so way behind in so many things!!
