baker's yeast is a diamond superfood for gatherer's...but I have had problems with candida..and nonsecretors are supposedly more susceptible..should I avoid this..or will it not feed the yeast in my case?

I have always thought bakers yeast was only for making bread.

Me too!  So besides eating a pinch of raw bread dough, how are you supposed to use the stuff, drink it? sniff it?  ??)

it is different to my understanding.
I add baker s yeast to my daily smoothie, for example, or sprinkle it over my salad....it tastes a bit like grated cheese, if you have lots of imagination, of course!! lol

but seriously, it is very tasty and you can also make a spread type vegamite.....it s in the recipe base.
loads of B vitamin!

Baker's yeast is definitely used in baking bread. I am not sure either if it will aggravate Candida or not.
I had recently found a link (but I don't think I bookmarked it) on a page about surviving Candida and the woman who wrote it said that certain yeasts and fungus will not make Candida worse but everyone  thinks it does because we keep repeating what we've read or heard already.
Maybe if you have bread made with yeast in suitable flours, such as Fonio bread ??)(help me here, I can't believe you guys aren't allowed to have regular brown rice flour)...I mean, Job's tears bread...Ok if you can find flax bread without wheat then you are probably good to go. Millet, barley or amaranth bread could be yummy, but you might have to make it yourself.
Manna bread is yeast free.

I think the one I use is not for baking...I use brewers yeast, sorry for the confusion......the one used in baking, baker s yeast, I would not know.
and I can t find nutritional yeast down here.....
