I guess I should have asked this question before dropping my secretor test in the drop box.....

Does anyone know if freezing will effect the sample? It will not be picked up till 9am tomorrow and it's supposed to be in the 20's tonight. I'm hoping it will be ok.  :-/

If all goes well I will be adding secretor status to my shield in a few weeks ;D

I don't know, but I'd guess not.

I wouldn't think so. I've heard that at least one lab purposely freezes their samples until they feel they have enough sent in to them to actually run the test. It was a Canadian lab, I think.

Thanks guys.
I'm following the GTD so I'm not really sure how I will use the info, should I turn out to be a nonnie. People keep saying it will help to fine tune the diet but I don't quite understand how you would go about fine tuning the GTD  ??)
Just one more thing to know about myself I suppose  8)

Freezing does not harm the secretor test. Crime Labs freeze dry saliva samples for this type testing
