BTD Forums  /  Supp Right For Your Type  /  Pain Relief Other Than Iburprofen?

Hi .... wanting suggestions for pain relief from this osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia other than medical prescriptions and Ibuprofen!!!  ??)

I take the pain as long as I can in my neck and back and then when it gets to the horrid headache stage, I give in to the Ibuprofen.

I receive chiropractic care, massages, I do heat and sometimes ice, and recently have started an at home back/neck stretching program so I'm working as many angles as I can afford...

I know there must be something natural out there...

Anyone?   :B

First get the Secetoer test done, then get the Arthritis book  and start living by it.
I have had low back, hip, knee, and foot pain for years, after going to the Arthritis book and taking Deflect, Calcium, Bromelain, the pain is gone, but let me off of it for one week and pain is back then it takes two weeks to get read of it.
I am a Secetor but if I use any grain it causes trouble.
I have found that if you eat a good protien about three hours before you go to bed it helps to get better and more  restful sleep, If I eat a good cut of beef at 7: PM go to bed at 10: PM I will sleep untill 4: AM awake fully rested and ready to go.
If I don't I wake at 1: to 2: AM and then have trouble going back to sleep.
I have had osteoarthritis of the spine and fibromyalgia, My chiropractor was my best freind two times a week for three years, before I found Eat Right, it toke a year before I got over most of the pain and about two years to get read of the rest of the pain, I have now been four years and am pain free.

Wow.. wonderful testimony Larry C.  Thank you so much.  Had the Secretor test done years ago.  I'm a Secretor and beef seems to really give me energy.

I'm doing Vit. D and Phytocal but have yet to add the Bromelain.  Will get some right away.

Do you think you've had a slow down in the progression of the diseases or a complete stop?

Thanks again...

That is a great testimonial Larry! I have been on the O-Diet for about 3 months now and still have sciatica (although it is much better). It seems that it will never go, but when I read that it took you one year or two, my hope goes up again.
When you say you are grain free, does that also include the 'neutral' grains such as rice, millet, amaranth and quinoa? ??)

No it is not a complete stop, If I eat green bell peppers it's back in 3 hours, and stays for a day and half, so I have to watch what I eat.
I do think taht as time goes on it will even slow down more and maybe stop.
But I will always stay on Eat Right, I never want to go back where I was.
I was in pain to bad to speak about and could not get around, I could not walk up and down stairs for 22 years with it, now I can.

Bromelain, Bromelain, Bromelain.

I take 1,000-1,500mg first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, along with either Ghee or Intrinsa and Polyflora.

The only Grain I eat is some Rye And Rice but not all the time, maybe one or two slices of 100% rye a week, and may be rice once a week.
On my Swami all grains but Rye And Rice are high Gluten or polyamine food.
I have been off of them so long I don't miss them.
About once every two weeks I will have some Spelt noddles with my Great Grand Daughter (3 1/2 years old)

Swami (Serotyping With Advanced Modifying Inventories) Some of your medical history, your Biometric measuring, finger prints, and more all put in to Dr. D's computer and it comes back with a food plan just for YOU.
It is the lead in to the Geneo type testing.

Hey Funky, I just came off of an addiction to excedrin.  I'd get horrible headaches and just general aches and pains mostly in my back muscles.  But God is good, my friend who works at my health food store told me about PHENOCANE a natural pain reliever made from natural ingredients with no harmful side affects.  Youe vision will get blurred if you take 6 a day for more than 2 weeks.  You won't have to take that many.  This stuff really works.  If you want to read about it just type in PHENOCANE and then search.  Also take a lot of bromalain on an empty stomach.  The combination will do wonders for you.

I looked up PHENOCANE  and one of the ingredients is Cucurmin.. isn't this Tumeric?

I take 500 mg of this every morning with my vitimins.

But this combination in Phenocane looks great.  Thank you all for the continued testimonies and suggestions!

Also LarryC... did your Swami change much on the BTD food lists for your type???

Yes the Swami had a big change in my food, It took away more grain than before, but that was ok I knowed that I did not need the grain.
It gave me more Vegs. and increased my size of meat.
I am well pleased with my food list, I sure enjoy the food I have to eat.
