I have not been having my period in a few months and I am certain I am not pregnant. I will be seeing a doctor for this in August, but I was wondering if in the meanwhile there is anything I should be doing to help my period along. I am about 80% adhering to the BTD. When I eat at home which is about 80% of the time I eat almost all benies with a few neutrals and no avoids. About once, sometimes twice a week I eat out and I almost always have trouble adhering. I usually end up getting something that has tomatoes or cream or cheese, but I never eat pork, beef, or any meet that is an avoid. Occasionally, I do eat a fish that is an avoid.

Any advice on this issue?

I havent been doing yoga as much as I was before. In fact Ive been down to once a week. Additionally, I have been studying for the bar exam so that has probably contributed to my stress lately. I should probably make a habit of doing more stress-reducing activities. Thanks!

Along with doing yoga you would probably benefit from picking up some Cortiguard from NAP to help you with your stress levels.

Thanks. I have been putting it off, but I think this is a strong indicator that it's time for it:)

I would also suggest that you get your secretor status checked. There are 26 foods that change rating from a secretor to a non-secretor, so it may be that you are not actually following the diet as closely as you might have thought.

A few more more questions, have you recently gained or lost a lot of weight? Are you jetlagged? Have you suddenly changed work hours (working overnight shift) all of these things will send the period packing.

I would go to the doctor to get it checked out. It could be some underlying medical condition that you don't want to ignore.
