    Hello! I`m new here! My name is Bogdan and I`m from Romania(the little country new aderated to EU in 2007 ) and I am 20 years old ! I`m an O type Rh+ and also secretor and I know that from the laboratory where my mother works(she`s a nurse).  First of all I want to apology because I dont speak English well, but I`ll try to seek for the corresponding words so that you can understand what I mean to say...  :B. Is anyone on this forum from Romania? Or someone who knows Romanian?
    I have read the book "eat right 4 your type" translated in Romanian by a Dr. from my country and I started eating all the type of food that are recomanded for me. Now I am a student of faculty of economic sciences and I had the feeling that I improve my ability of learning after only one week  :o . Before I started the diet I felt tired and dizzy. At that time I was eating pizza, bread, cheese (especialy Camabert), chicken, and as a fruit I liked better bananas and oranges  ::)  - A TOTAL DISASTER!
      I go to the gym 5 days in a week where I am training all the muscle groups( a distinct group every day for about one hour and after that I make cardio-aerobic for 15 minutes ) My body is now good to place it on the cover of a fitness magazine.
      During the day I eat several meals:
1. Soy protein with one table spoon of honey
2. Long rice with lean meat(cow meat or goat meat)
3. 2 whites of eggs with turnip cabbage/tops -3 days in a week and chicken breast
4. Soy protein with one table spoon of honey
5. salt-water fish with lemon juice (my favourite fish type is "macrou"-an oceanic one)
6. tofu with fennel
   
     And now my question is:

   What can I do to get rid of Candida localized in my throat? My physician told me to take some pills but in vain- no results!   In this situation the diet helped me very much because i don`t feel my throat painful and I dont cough anymore but when I repeat the test (lingual smear) candida is there!
    I want to thank you for your patience to read my message which is full of offends against grammar  :K)  ;D

Sure I know Romania - lovely with another European on the board. BTD is really spreading ;-D

Your English is perfect! Many members here (myself  - and Henriette above ;) - included) don't have English as our first language, but we do the best we can, and in most cases the other English-speaking members even understand what we're trying to say! :D

I'm sure you'll like it here. We have so many nice and clever members here. :)

eat less carbs and legumes, like soy and tofu......up your protein, such as fish, also, and add more veggies.

carbs and legumes become sugar once digested, and you need to avoid that, for your candida to heal.

check the yeast protocol and try to follow it.

your O ancestry needs the protein, but not from soy.

also follow the frequency values given for legumes for type O and you will understand what I m trying to say......three times soy in any form, a day seems like too much soy to me.

if u think you may have candida you might want to check into how to kill parasites. certain colon cleanses along with herbs can do that.

   I have to replace soy with someting i mean I need to drink a protein shake... to drink it after training routine... and also when i woke up in the morning :(
    My big problem is that most of veggies found in the book are not here in my country... :( + lot of errors and misunderstanding in the translation of the book...
   
    green beens are ok for O`s?

   Can you show me one meal plan for one day for me( I am very active ) ?  I am deeply indepted!  :K)

my breakfast is mostly protein from meat or fish or poultry, with veggies.....
add ghee or olive oil and you will have energy all morning......
I sometimes forget it is already lunchtime!
I feel so satiated!
so I eat a late lunch, and forget dinner altogether......
lunch is practically the same.......my carbs if needed are root veggies, which I m sure you get in your country.

by the way, I was in Bucharest and Umag by the sea, but that was way before you were born!!

Welcome to the BTD Forum, podoleanu.

You may want to be cognizant of your soy consumption as outlined in the bean/legume guideline recommendations in one of the ER resource books.

I believe reducing your soy intake and substituting with a serving of meat, fish, eggs, or another compliant protein source may assist with your candida and overall health.

Dr. D'Adamo sells a book called "The Complete Blood Type Encyclopedia" that has an anti-fungal and anti-yeast protocol in it.  I highly recommend buying these books.

If you have any good health food stores in Romania, they should sell yeast cleanse formulas in the store.  They will usually be called "candida cleanse" or "yeast cleanse" or something like that.  

After Dr. D, one of my favorite authors is an ND named Brenda Watson.  She specializes specifically (is that a redundancy?) in probiotic and parasite supplements.  She sells products here in the states called "CleanseSmart" and "ParaGone".  The first one removes toxins from all the major organs, and the second kills candida, mold, fungus, worms, and so on from the body.  She recommends taking them in the order I mentioned them to you.

Before this, however, the single most important thing you can do, is what you've already done:  the Blood Type Diet.  I would strongly recommend that you start with one of Dr. D's supplements called "Deflect" and make that a regular thing that you take for routine removal of lectins from your body.

Finally, I want to voice my astonishment at your proficiency with English.  You communicate better in English than many native English-speakers, and should be shown a respectful deference for all your diligence and effort.  I can also assure you that your English is definitely leagues and leagues beyond the Romanian that I and most English-speakers are currently capable of.

If you know any French or German, you may enjoy some of Tomatilla Isa's posts, she's in Switzerland.
You will see many more improvements in your health, I think.
I get less troubles in my breathing parts- sinuses, nose, throat, lungs, since I got on BTD and away from the grains and dairy, as I see you are doing. Give it time.
Our O brains do work better when we stay away from our avoids!

Yes, a little time may do it.  (Not that you shouldn't follow Ronagon's suggestions  :) ).  I used to have white clumps on my tonsils and after being on the BTD for several months, I noticed that they were all gone, and they've never come back.  I don't know if it was candida or not, but the white junk is gone.

and to read a book written in english is not an easy thing to do for me...

Hello, Bogdan, and WELCOME!  Your English is great, don't worry!  There is lots of information on this site about fighting candida.  Try doing a search of the site using the word "candida" and you will find a treasure trove.  Again, welcome and we are glad to have you here!!!

       In my local supermarket I found 3 kinds of potatoes: red, white, and another type especialy for salad. I dont know if the last type of potatoes are an avoid for O`s like red and white type are( that`s what it say in the translated book-which I told you that it`s full of errors..)   And another thing: The potatoes for salad(that`s what it say on the ticket with the price) are 4 times expensive than red and white potatoes and I think this is because they are healthy...   Are this potatoes the sweet ones??  :-/

Just normal potatoes with different firmness.
Sweet potates i looks like theese and have often very orange flesh:

    I have never seen this type of potatoes... not in Romania not even in Grece where I use to go on summer vacations  :(

They are not very common either here.
They can´t be grown in North Europe- they are not a real potato- completely different family.

The only reason why we get them here in Denmark( expensive) is the fact that a lot of Danes love american food.....
Do you have parsnips or other root veggies? - they can be used instead of potatoes.
My O is allowed a potatoe once in a while- since she is healthy....

         At home in Romania I have parsnips and root veggies. After school today I was going to market where peasants sell those kind of things and these are very cheap. 1kg of parsnips is about 50 eurocents... they are very poor because that`s what they do for living and our government want to organize them and they will not be able anymore to sell veggies or milk from their individual farm... according to standards of EU but I know that Greeks are in EU since 1981 and those people can live their lifes selling in markets...

Welcome to the BTD and forum and best wishes on this new journey.

Spain is also in EU and we have vegetables and fruit sold in markets but... there are growing demands (by interested parties EU driven) to have all vegetables and fruit pre-packed and labeled, like in supermarkets, by law. It is meant to be in the interest of hygiene. Obviously that would exclude the people selling in markets as they can not afford to have their products pre-packed. Sales of markets will decline as people will question: Why go to the market to buy pre-packed produce when you can get it at the supermarket and buy other things at the same time? Also, pre-packed ingredients are never as good as the hide the older products at the bottom of the tray.

It is still not law and there are groups fighting against it but... the money and the power is unfortunately in the other side, the one that want hygiene ::)

I will certainly put my two cents so that the law does not come through.

Hello from NYC~!!  Welcome - I'm a newbie myself....and I, like you have a great workout regimen and was taking protein shakes - although I was taking whey protein....I would switch to rice protein - but the last two times I had rice bread it was like I was in accoma~!!  It felt like I was drugged up~!!  I'm trying eggs as a morning substitute...

Anyhoo, let me know how the rice protein works for you if you try it...

Oh and your English is better than most foreigners here - I know people who lived here in the states for 10+ yrs and YOU'RE BETTER THAN THEM HANDS DOWN~!!!!

   Thanks I hope just what I say to make sense for you...  :P  You like bodybuilding? because I like it very much and i don`t understand something... how Arnold or others famous bodybuilders and athlets don`t eat right for them types...   :-/
    I don`t have rice protein here... :( and no rice bread(only rice flour-but i`m very busy and I dont have the time to make my self the bread  :) )

   I was taking whey protein last year and I was having good results but after a pause of training I was a little "fluffy" if u know what I mean  :P

"Fluffy."  lol  I think we all know what you mean.  Some people manage to figure out how to loosely follow the right diet even if they don't know about the BTD.  For example, some Os just naturally realize they want a lot of meat and don't feel good on grains.  Some As just figure out that they feel better eating a lot of soy and no meat.  So these people do really well.  From what I have read, a lot of Hollywood people experiment with a lot of types of diets and are unusually well-educated when it comes to healthy lifestyles (I'm sure having a lot of money helps).  I don't remember who it was, but I read several years ago about some famous actress who was unable to tolerate dairy and wheat.

Is Arnold an O?  Could be.  But also, think about this:  some body builders get help from little pills.

Ah - GREAT point - I know what you mean about Arnold - but we don't know what's going on inside their bodies...or really how they feel..... also the american bodybuilders here.....i know they're unhealthy with all the water loss they continually aim for before contests....not to mention the steriods...the women look like ugly men to me  :P

Both my hubby and I was pretty lean and mean last yr - but we too got fluffy and mushie - usually happens in the winter for us - but no more~!!!   we  feel so good gettin back into things.....but he's not into ERTD

    In my btd book i read that beer and red wine is ok for me but not every day and not very much of those...
    I like beer as much as u like it I think( in weekends when I go out with my friends I drink one NA-beer and I feel good).
    I think most of O`s type likes beer- my grand father is an O my mother is an O...
    My father who`s an A dont like beer as much as me and my mother...
    the NA beer has as ingredients: water, malt and hop.

      I dont know if I can order rice protein on-line and how to do that because a lot of orders are not send to Romania because some Romanian people has caused lots of damages ordering on-line and than they have payed taking advantage the minuses of the banking sistem stealing others people`s money... I am sure you heard of that kind of things... and that is what it`s hapens in my country and because of this class of people we( onest people) have to suffer...

Is Arnold an O?  Could be.  But also, think about this:  some body builders get help from little pills.

If I had candida, I would take Polyflora for my blood type.  It is great for restoring the body to normal beneficial  bacteria.  Another great restorative supplement is ARA Larch.  Also, the Blood Type Encyclopedia Protocols are helpful.
