BTD Forums  /  Testimonials  /  My Date with the Tape Measure

I have developed quite the belly ever since menopause dragged me down to the "hell mouth" about 8 years ago.  My waist ballooned to 37 inches and no matter what diet I tried (and I tried them all from Atkins to Apples and Pears to Fat Flush and numerous others) I could not make my waist budge even slightly. I joked and said I was pregnant with the Three Stooges.

My stomach was actually hard like a basketball (which is what it resembled).  I've been doing the BTD now for approx 8 weeks and I noticed two days ago my normal jeans were a little loose.  I tried on a pair which I normally have to leave unbuttoned and secured with a thick rubberband for some "breathing room".  I know, that's quite the visual.

Anyway, the rubberband jeans fit without the rubberband.  Wow!  So tonight I actually measured my waist and I've lost 1 1/2 inches!  I know that doesn't seem like moving the earth but after trying for over a year to lose anything from my belly the BTD finally does it!!!!

My belly now has gone from basketball hard to marshmallow soft.  I'm guessing I'm burning off the hard fat which has been residing there. Another great visual.

I'm so happy that I'm shopping for new jeans on ebay.   BTD rocks.  No doubt about it.  (dance)

WooHoo!
The hard fatty cysts all over my body have been slowly softening and leaving since I started the diet about a year ago.  There has been tremendous healing in that time as well with much more still to do.

Such cool news, guys!
Hey, Mitchie! Get your jeans at a good used clothing store, I don't think you'll be in them that long! ;) You'll be going down another size before you know it! ;D

ABJoe - isn't it cool to do something beneficial for yourself and see good results?  Congrats to you!  (clap)

All Right! Way to go Mitchie! ;D OSuzanna has good advice, head to the resale shop, because soon your used jeans will be history too! Plus, you will soon have a wide selection of jeans because people donate the ones that don't fit because they have OUTgrown them!

ABJoe, glad to hear your cysts are melting away. My father-in-law has these too. The Dr.'s are puzzled by what they are, and always want to biopsy them, but he won't allow that. His are about the size of a half of a ping pong ball, but sort of flat at the skin surface. He has them all along his arms, and on his torso(front and back). He always attributed them to all the times he banged his arms on things throughout his career in the construction trade. I wonder if he were eating at all for his type, if the bumps would diminish? He is an O, and thinks I am nuts,  ;D ;)the way I eat. He did however give up dairy. But.... the rest of the avoids, No Way!  :X What do the Dr.'s attribute your bumps to?

The doctors attribute the lumps to waste material that the body was not able to eliminate.   :P
Due to the many years of allergies, improper digestion, and ineffective elimination, I built quite a collection of lyphomas.   ;D
The doctor was reluctant to biopsy mine, since he said they were very seldom malignant.  He would have if I wanted him to, though.  I read his demeaner and said, "No thanks!"
My Chiropracter agreed that it sounded like a reasonable diagnosis. ;)
