I recently bought some of these (Zagros figs), because I was simply so charmed by their cuteness. They're basically mini-figs! They're also rock-hard (I failed to check this before hand, I saw how tiny and cute they were and just started scoopin'...)

So, my questions are:

Has anyone any experience with these little guys?

What do you do with them?

Any suggestions?

I'm thinking of soaking them.

I have never heard of them nor tried this variety of figs.

You can soaked them overnight in juice or filtered water to soften them up.  Or cook them in a hot liquid/juice to poach them; then you can make a fig compoa\st from the poached figs once they have cooled, if desired.

I did a search and couldn't find any information about this variety.  I grow figs and eat them fresh, but they are large and very soft when I pick and eat them.  

I hope you find something to do with them that is good...

I soak mine in enough green tea to cover them.....
next morning I make a jam, in the food processor........do not add extra sugar.....
