this is earth shaking! maybe it is too soon to rejoice, but seem to have lost my passion. my obsessive craving for cheese! I hope it turns into a coffe like thing...I quit coffee, still love the smell, but never am tempted to drink it....its over, its just over...
(fingers crossed on the cheese!)

AWESOME to see how your body adjusts to what is right!
I stay away from dairy as I have done for years as the results of having it are too painful!!

Jayney, I need to get into the cheese free zone. I've been affording myself too much cheese as of late; even though it is goat cheese.

good for you, Drea, you can do it! just have it less than once a week and it 'll sort of lose its power...

It's strange how that happens, isn't it? I used to eat whole hunks of cheddar and provolone and get pizza with extra cheese, and dump a ton of parmesan on my spaghetti. Now I use grated pecorino or manchego once in a while, or (as a very occasional treat) put some thin slices of fresh mozzarella on meat loaf, or have a little chevre on a slice of fresh pear or apple . . . but the craving is long gone.

The longest craving I ever had was to corn products...  When I stopped eating it, I wanted everything corn.  Fortunately, my wife kept slapping my hands, (figuratively), and after three weeks, I noticed this huge empty feeling under my ears in the head...  Just one bite of a dessert with corn syrup made me realize that there was a tremendous headache I had been living with for ?how long?

I still get some of those headaches as the body clears the old junk out but it can't go on forever!!!
