Mom used to make a turkey and rice entree with small pieces of turkey from the carcass before making stock.  Knowing that my wife was having difficulty eating rice, I determined that millet is Beneficial for A's when rice is Neutral...  I replaced the rice with millet and made it for dinner last night.  We were both very happy with the meal and she had the leftover portion for lunch today.

I added the recipe to Recibase, but here it is as well...  I realized that it was at least neutral for all blood types when I checked all of the ingredients in Typebase!

Turkey w/ Millet - Stovetop Casserole

Description
Great way to use leftover compliant meat...
We have used this recipe with rice (white, brown, or basmati) or millet...
Check compliance: Top with plain yogurt, if desired.

Ingredients
2 C Turkey, cooked and chopped
4 C Broth or water
1 C Millet
3 T Onion, dehydrated
2 t Garlic, dehydrated
1 T Parsley, dehydrated

Directions
Put everything except millet in pan and heat to boiling. Add millet, reduce heat to simmer and cook for approximately 30 minutes, or until millet is soft.
Serve with vegetable or salad, as desired.

Does millet become beneficial for A's in one of the Health books? The Typebase declares it neutral for both secretors and nonnies...I see that rice becomes beneficial for A's in the Diabetes book, and millet becomes an infrequent neutral...  :'(

Oops, Sorry...  I was looking at both amaranth and millet this weekend and got the two mixed up...  Millet is an Infrequent Neutral for A's in the Fatigue book, as well.

I don't know whether the dish would be the same using amaranth...  I think it would need a bit less stock and would be more creamy...
