Dr D'Adamo

I would like to say thank you very much for the cancer book. I sent one to my aunt when she was diagnosed in late 2004 with liver and bowel cancer. She was  making good progress until Feb this year when the docs found a tumour in her spine (found because she lost the use of her legs). On 28 March she passed away having as far as I can tell minimal suffering. (able to socialise until a few days before). A good friend of hers told me even when she was on a liquid diet she used the fruits and veggies you recommended. This friend told me she loved the book, and several copies were bought and passed around the area. My aunt was BT A.

This good friend of hers (an O) is also following the diet and although she had already given up wheat and dairy has reintroduced beef and buffalo to her diet - and she feels so much better. She has had ME for 23 years and this year she was able to go down hill skiing. (she also had proper treatment for an infection of the appendix but she really credits the diet for making a difference).

She also told me  of a gentlemen diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer, who following the diet, has astounded his doctors, and has been able to go an a holiday abroad (diagnosis is the same but obviously feeling and doing a lot better than anybody expects!)

So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the work you have put into all your books. You are making a difference to so many people's lives, and yesterday I was given more proof of how significant this information can be.

A friend of mine was diagnosed with Stage 3 esophageal adenocarcinoma nearly two years ago.  It has a 5% chance of 5 year survival. She had surgery, was not able to take chemo, but after some persuasion (arm twisting) she went on the BTD for Type B.  At first it had to be liquified and put into a J tube (feeding tube into her bowel).  Then she was soon able to eat by mouth.   She is still on the diet, and now preaches healthy eating to others too.  So far no sign of a return of the cancer.  I attribute much of her survival, while others are dying quickly, to her doing the BTD for cancer.
