The wrong type food WILL get you. My sweetie pie saw the weight just fall off of me and figured that was the plan for her. She had been told by her parents that she was O+, so she just dove right in. She GAINED weight. About three months later, she needed to be blood typed for a minor operation, and it turned out that she is A+.  She could not have eaten a worse diet for herself, if it doesn't bleed, I won't eat it. That's O.K. for me, I'm O+, and Native American, but she is half Mexican, and A+. Now we cook our food at the same time, but in different pans, I guess you could say we eat seperatly, but together.

Cooking in two seperate pans - sounds nice! I am cooking for myself (A) and one (A) and (O) child. I can't wait until he (the O)  is old enough to grill by himself!  My husband is an O - but as he won't eat anything I cook, I just pretend he doesn't exist.  (No, not really) - :)

I look forward to the day when I truly have this diet figured out.

I hear you Deborah *lol* The roomie who gave me my first copy of ER4YT is AB and I'm an O. I sat down one evening and figured out what foods we could share . . . the list was pretty small! She was not really interested in the plan so I cooked for myself and she ate whatever I cooked, plus her favorite dairy goodies.

Fortunately my current roomie is also an O (we are both rh positive). We need to get secretor tests done, but even if one of us is a nonnie, it won't be that bad. (I have my suspicions that I'll turn out to be the nonsecretor.)

I would Have to be tested, I'm sooo weird that you could NEVER tell symtomaticly. I have such a high clotting factor that when the V.A. tests my blood (so healthy they can't STAND it), they can't stick me it the arm, no matter who tries, the vein just rolls away. They now stick me in the back of the hand to get the sample which takes 4 vials. After the second vial, they have to stick me in a different place, the blood has coagulated in the needle. But then I don't have a cavity in my head, (that may be more due to my diet that anything, no sugars at all, and no starch either). my digestive tract is perfect, and my O2 saturation is 99%, even here at 4,000 feet altitude. I think that it's because of  being native, I'm a born warrior.  The other is that I have a strong ability to willingly control the workings of my body. I once brought my heartbeat almost to a stop by mind control. Once they had me take an EEG, boy did I have fun with THEM. That comes from 30 years of karate, Tae Kwon Do to be precise. I started it when I was stationed in Korea in the Army.

My husband is Type O, and, yes, I also cook our meals in 2 differant pans, also.  Sure is a lot of work but, hey, it's worth the good health!!  He is slowly seeing the need to eat  foods that agree with him.  Since I have been cooking this way, I have seen how he has more energy then he used to.

I TRY to plan ahead and make enough to have left-overs or feeze small portions for me (the lonely A in the house) since the rest of my family are O's.  2 pans????  That's on a slow day!  We quite often use them all!  But I still like to make extras to avoid doing that all the time.  Someone is having left overs in one form or another, usually me since I'm the only one home for lunch in the daytime.  Or my oldest daughter who has to take her lunch to school.

I try to bake with A's and O's in mind, at least when I can.  occaisionally I have to use just butter which I can't have.  That's when I hope I've put something compliant for me in the freezer!

I am with you Jill.  I just started a new section to my cookbook.  Dinners that all 4 of us can eat together!  Then, when I am lucky enough to have thought ahead and defrost an "A" leftover, the O's get meatloaf. Hah!  I wish I could go to a big "cooking party" and cook in someone else's kitchen! :)

Wow!!!!   Have not been paying close attention to my A's diets.  No butter.  I thought it was okay for them.  Thanks, jillthepilllady.  It's Ghee for everyone.   :D

We had some neighbors and one of them basically ate hot dogs & mac & cheese as he once said--also a of of beer * he smoked.
After he moved out, we heard that he was found dead at age 38!
Believe me, I know how important diet is!

As and Bs are tough together!  My husband is a B.....

If I eat meat, it's chicken....which he can't have.  And we both really don't care all that much for turkey.   :P

All the beans we like are exactly opposite.  Avoid for one and beneficial for the other (and vice versa).  We really don't care much for the neutral beans.  Our bodies both crave the beneficials...

He likes peppers and potatoes, I can't... So we just cook our meals seperately.  Works out well.  This way if I burn my food, I don't have to hear him complain.   ;D

hi-hi-hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii :D ;D B-Dragon,- that's very sweet I thought it was a word of the american natives for vegetarians = lousy hunters...... ;D

But I think they may be all hunters because of being O's ??!-

The AB's are more prone for spiritual hunting... hi-hi-hiiiiiiiiiiiii ;D
