Did you eliminate gluten? Do you think you were gluten intolerant? I was and still am and that was the cause of my leaky gut... How about the white lines in your fingerprints? Did you have them?
Most of my prints were flattened out severely from white lines/gluten.. I've been off gluten for 8 years. Still haven't fully healed my gut due to taking abx....which set me back. But while on
abx, I realized I had no aches and pains so possibly, I've got what you're describing.
Do you have issues with any specific foods? Dairy? Grains? Trying to compare notes with you
and also I want to go back and read the Arthritis book Dr. D wrote. Haven't read it in years. You've made me rethink the source of my aches and pains.
Glad you posted and shared your info....I think your experience can help ME! :)
MEDLINE on infectious arthritis....after reading it doesn't apply to me...no swelling...
And then there can be viral arthritis
It seems endless....other forms of arthritis
Quoted from Amazone I.the end of the word *itis* always points out to inflammatory issues, so far almost food can be the causa as parasites can be :-/ btw I'd go against the pains with a tens-gadget ;) ;D
I know you said you were on a few Standard Process formulas but from my experience some of them
contain animal organs plus gluten. I'm just wondering if any of these foreign proteins are causing
this "itis" in your body.. I'm careful not to take any supplements not formulated by Dr. D unless he gives them to

Thanks, Chloe. I've suspected since I started them that they would not be 'the best' for me for the reasons you state. Over the past 3 years, though, they have proved that definately help me. I guess I figured the small amount that I am ingesting of the animal parts would easily be handled by my liver. But you made me think. I developed this infectious arthritis Nov. of 2011, about 1 1/2 years after starting Standard Process. ??) Who knows.
I'm going to begin to switch over to Dr. D's while still having my chiropractor muscle test me on the currant Standard Process products. I look forward to the S.P. products being reduced and no longer needed. Thanks for your concern. You've really helped me begin this next part of my journey. :K)
Just as an example, if you check typebase for a food like beef heart for type A, this is what
Secretory insufficiency. Induces dysbiosis. Increases polyamine or indican levels. Inhibits proper gastric function or blocks assimilation.
So if one organ from a cow can do this much damage, I feel all the other organ parts used in
SP formulas have the same potential for gut damage.
Any organ of a cow, something your type A gut (or mine) would not find complimentary, dysbosis is likely the point where you began having auto-immume problems as a leaky gut would allow aberrant animal proteins to be traveling through your compromised gut and flowing into your blood stream and causing inflammation. Raising indican means your body has been holding onto bacteria. It's not just your liver that has to get rid of these toxins....it's your kidneys which keeps filtering your blood and think how hard your kidneys have to work with a constant ingestion of
Hopefully whatever type of arthritis you have, you can heal your gut which will lead to healing of
the whole body!

Thanks for all the clarification of those terms. I've gone to that site before and read those things but not sure what it all meant.
Dr. D.'s came today! Starting tomorrow but I have a question... At the bottom of my SWAMI it recommends Activator/Teacher, Synergist/Teacher, Flaxseed Oil, and ARA6 (larch fiber). Are these recommendations based on my SWAMI input, do you think? It would be GREAT to only concentrate on those 4 for now.
When I got the package, the literature of all of Dr.'s supplements was included. I read it and only saw the Flaxseed Oil product and the ARA6. There was no listing under Type A for the Synergist and Activator. Is that because it is based on GenoType and not to be included in his flyer on Blood Type? I just need to have a little clarification. Thank you. :)
Yes, those are the supplements SWAMI recommends for you and based on the questions you
answered.....so 4 supplements are specific to you, not a general
recommendation for all Teachers. And this is independent of blood type supplements which you
can either add or not add at this time. The general blood type A multi/mineral/Deflect/Polyflora
are supplements you might or might not need. You'd have to assess this by your age, your
health issues and whether you think you're eating high quality foods, enough beneficials and
feel well. I take Polyflora A every day twice a day because I know I need it after I took an abx.
I would only take Deflect if I thought I was ingesting a toxin....and as far as vitamins and minerals
are concerned, every few days I take one or the other. Generally I think I eat well....
But if you have any specific health issues that you don't think SWAMI is addressing, then you could always go to the pull down menu and search health issues. There are protocols for many
conditions and most protocols are short....a few weeks, a month at the most. You'd do that and
then stop for awhile. Repeat only if necessary.
I think the point is to take the fewest supplements you can and try to achieve good health through a compliant diet.
As general information....The blood type diet products are separate from the Genotype Diet products. Most
people following the BTD would use just BTD supplements. As for following the GTD, specific supplements were created as a trio package for each genotype. Fine to just take GTD supplements....they are comprehensive enough...although there are general vitamins and minerals that all genotypes or blood types can take.
Good luck :)
