I've been eating Paleo style now for roughly a month from a diet of eating bread, rice, pasta, milk etc and have been feeling great.. I've always known I was O negative so I had no problem trying Paleo, but after all the tests in the book I have discovered I'm a Hunter.

I have been consuming alot of bacon and sausages, along with fruits such as strawberry's and kiwi's, which are a no no for a hunter.

In all, I have been feeling great and my skin has improved apart from my eyes. They now appear to have the hollow look where I can see my bone structure alot more. This is starting to bother me now and have no idea why this is happening as I'm only 35, and seemed to be fine months ago

Has anyone had similar problems?

You may need to have more carbohydrates in your diet than Paleo provides...  

Also, the body may be cleaning the old fat (and stored junk) out of the body which has left the hollow look, but will correct it as the change completes...

I would be very cautious of eating a high (avoid) lectin content diet, as this can cause significant damage to the gut - and from there to the rest of the body...

BT and Paleo are easy to combine, use turkey bacon or sausage instead of pork and use your allowed veggies, fruits, nuts and seeds. I do Paleo/ BT as well and I just don't eat avoids(except avocado) nor do I eat grains, starches or sugars. I just eat my allowed proteins, veggies and fats and minimal fruits. However, I don't eat many carbs at all, just non starchy veggies. Works beautifully for me.

I agree with ABJoe, probably fat and toxin removal and will self adjust. Are you losing weight?

Yeah, I've dropped a few lbs and only need to lose another 5 or 6, so I'm not too worried about that.. So, if I just avoid the foods I should, I'll get there.

Thanks for the replies.. I know I haven't been on the diet long, so I hope you're right about my system getting rid of the old junk (fat) lol

Getting rid of the major avoids, wheat corn dairy pork will help emensly. Then fine tune your way. I know I need far more fat than carbs and as Dr D said, O's do best in a mild state of ketosis.

For sure your system is purging toxins, especially if you're losing weight. Fat is stored toxins. Your system will rebalance, just ditch the avoids and replace with allowed foods, ie: pork bacon for turkey, strawberries and kiwi for blueberries or grapefruit etc

And remember - success on the BTD/GTD way of eating is about more than staying away from the avoids/toxins.  It is the Beneficials/Superfoods that have the power to heal you and develop good health.  So don't neglect the foods that are great for you, while you're busy eliminating the toxic foods from your diet.  That's a winning combination!  :)
